    Knee Sprain. Help?

I played soccer today with my friends and as I turned my body the other way round i felt my knee twisting. The initial pain wasnt that long, lasted around 2-3 minutes, then it was completely gone. Now whenever i straighten my leg or walk on it I feel a sense of tenderness in my knee, like someone taking a big chunk of skin and lightly squeezing it. There isnt any swelling or bruising which is good. Im not a medical expert but I assume it's just a knee sprain? Anyone experienced the same thing before and how long did it take to completely recover and workout again.

Could be a something town, could even be a micro tear. If there doesn't seem to be any swelling start putting heat on it. NOT cold. Cold will hinder nutrients being carried by blood to the area as it restricts blood vessels, heat does the opposite.
