So, what do you all think of getting 2 double meats(no cheese), protein style, no sauce, and no onion, as a post workout meal? Not everyday, but lets say about 2-3 times a week. Reason I ask, is because my circumstances don't allow me to prepare and cook meals the way I should be, and I heard that getting a double meat, protein style is not a bad choice. Obviously I took it a step further by taking away the sauce, which I know has a gang of unhealthy calories, and I just wanted to hear what you guys had to say.
Also, is Chipotle a viable choice? I hear so many people swear that the burrito bowls are the best thing to get if you eat out.

cooking my own meals makes controlling my macros so simple it's not even funny. i know exactly what went into the food i'm eating (mostly) so that's really good too.
going out to eat all the time is fine, but you spend a lot more money and it's more effort to control your nutrition.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

Most fast food places have the nutrition info readily available and are heavily sctrutinized. Making your own food, each ingredient's label can legally be off 20%, so its pretty hard to get accurate with 1 ingredient let alone a combination of things that are all off. But it does give you a false sense of being in control.

Well no, I don't like the onions. The thing about the sauce though, is after looking up the info, it's basically 80 calories a serving, of nothing. A little cholesterol, sodium, and fat. Nothing else to it. So it's like, I rather not have the extra 80 calories, or 160 if I get two double meats, if it's not in any way beneficial.

Chipotle is a great place to eat as you know everything that is going into your bowl / burrito. Calories, macros, and micros are readily available online. I can get a filling, delicious meals from there and still be under 600 calories for the meal. That's winning.

I eat a burrito bowl every week. Every....week. Variety is key. I don't like the sodium count but what I get (Chicken bowl, rice, half sour, cheese, lettuce) and its easy to fit inside my macros.
There is no such thing as an unhealthy calorie, just unnecessary calories or empty calories, sugary drinks, soda specifically, I am looking at you. If it isn't important enough then just pass on the sauces, condiments and dressings. If it works into your dietary constraints then go for it.
I also am not sure if you were getting double meat or double meat for two types of meats.Injuries are in my past, greatness is in my future.
