As I said in my earlier post(BEFORE) the game. Winning team, that stays a winning team. Jets dropped to 1-1 and Seattle dropped to 6-6 after your wins against them.

This was your first legit win vs a legit opponent. You guys are playing really well, can't hate on that. But you're not a great matchup for us. Obviously at some point things change but I fear the Ravens more than either Dallas or Philly right now. We'll see how the 49ers look against them in 2 weeks.

Purdy gets so much crap from sportswriters and it's really unwarranted. He's a nice, down to earth and level-headed kid with a lot of talent.

They just don't want to upset the scouts whom, according to John Madden, don't know how to scout for QBs. They measure by bench press and vertical jumps, which don't mean a lot for a QB.

My observations as a fan but critical.

Brock threw behind people.
Field was slippery
People couldn't hold on to the ball and balls were airborne, thus 4 interceptions.
Either Baltimore has a good defense, or our O line was bad.
Way too many penalties by the secondary
Missed tackles.
Purdy held on the ball too long while Sam Darnold threw the ball within 2-3 seconds.... harder and faster.
I will add more thoughts....... and we needed this loss to play better and smarter in the playoffs.

We never ever beat Baltimore, at least for as long as I can remember.
Trent Williams better be ok or we will be bounced in early rounds.

Our O Line was really bad so Purdy didn't have much time. The Ravens do have a good defense, though.

Never thought Eagles would lose to the Cardinals at home...the worst run defense in the league vs that Eagles OL, Hurts and their run game. Kudos to Arizona for absolutely taking it to that team. As bad as we looked vs the Ravens...that was an absolutely embarrassing showing by the Eagles and compiled with the refs hosing the Lions on Saturday we get #1 seed secured before week 18.

Getting that top seed for this team is absolutely huge! The team is floundering out there, defense especially. Looked similar to how we were playing the Bengals before our bye week. You could see guys not at 100% doing what they could and it wasn't going how we wanted. The rest did wonders for the defense and they came out flying, tackling well and just looking like the defense we're used to.

It will be curious to see who plays on Sunday vs the Rams. I have a feeling they will be sitting their key guys as well even though the game for them at least has seeding implications, makes no difference to us win or lose(though I'd rather win of course)

My guess is the guys who were out for this last game all sit. CMC is already getting the day off to heal up his calf strain. I'm thinking Trent Williams sits(you could tell he wasn't 100% out there vs Washington) and I'm guessing we let Banks sit with his toe issue. If that happens I'd be surprised if we played Brock. Probably Kittle sits as well since he's been dealing with a bunch of stuff.

Basically I think we should treat it as a week 1 preseason game. I don't think our guys are the type to get rusty. I think they understand the big picture and getting healthy and rested is the thing we needed most and getting the opportunity for that to happen.

Also wouldn't hurt to see some of the backups get time just to see what they can do.

I'm not going to worry about any of the AFC teams until we can actually secure our spot in the SB. Nothing is guaranteed despite how well we've played this year. With the rest we have no excuses. Get it done.
