Hey Canadian brahs, where do you guys get your decants? I've been using basenotes for a while now, but shipping to Canada always comes at an extra cost and the exchange rate right now sucks.

Anyone have or tried Valentino Uomo Intense?
I've heard it's very similar to DHI, and I'm having a hard time deciding which one to get.

I've been dying to try this and keeping an eye out for a decant forever. How is it, and do you know where I can get some?
Going to California for 5 days and SOTD is Cologne Noir by Can Cleef and Arpels. This is like what I wanted spice and wood to be, darker and much lighter on the woodiness. Only problem is I'm getting **** longevity right now, two hours and it's a skin scent but I can't stop smelling my wrist. This is the first frag I've tried and actually thought of Halloween, def gonna wear this a bunch this fall

Was searching for my bottles of Fahrenheit and found this Tom Ford Extreme for Men. I haven't touched it in over a year, anyone interested for $69 shipped? Retail is $130. (50mL, only available in this one size.)
Can do decants too if anyone is interested.
PS, no idea where my Fahrenheits are, had a few. Thinking of letting go of some of my discontinued collection that's not Guerlain. No longer feel the need to keep them and they have appreciated nicely.

Feels, i lost my MI 4oz bottle somewhere in my house. I packed it and can't remember where i put it lol.
This is a tough one for me to describe. Its a creamy fresh fragrance that surprisingly lasts a long time on me. People liken it to Allure Homme. It smells good, but i find it gets a bit cloying after a while. I got samples from an MFK store when i was abroad for the Euros in June. You could order a 10ml split from base notes, but its a bit on the pricer side at 10mls for about $37

In 2016, Dior brings back its iconic fragrance Jules to the European market (namely Russia), the second masculine perfume of this house. Jules, whose name comes from the French slang for seducer / lover, was developed by perfumer Jean Martel in 1980, more than 10 years after the first masculine fragrance Eau Sauvage. The advertising campaign involved the illustrations from artist Rene Gruau, and one of the slogans read as "Strong and gentle".
The composition of the 2016 release offers green top notes of Iranian galbanum mixed with herbs. Indian black pepper, the best example of its kind, forms the intensive heart of the perfume, together with floral accents of cyclamen and hedione. Refined and noble American cedar oil and leather round the composition in the base.
The fragrance is available as a 100 ml Eau de Toilette at a price of around 70 Euros.Last edited by Arsenal01; 09-29-2016 at 09:47 PM.

SOTD - Spicebomb
Has anyone tried the Fresh and/or Extreme, if so how did they compare to the original?
edit
Also, I got a $40 off coupon from my purchases last weekend and was looking online for something to use it on. Wife asks me what I thought about Issey Miyake (thought she said Mr Miyagi) and realized it's one I see Mr Hydrochloride SOTD'ing often, L'eau d'Issey pour homme. Any fragrance this one is similar to?Last edited by lowkey122; 09-30-2016 at 06:44 AM.

Finally tried out that Encre Noir a l'extreme last night, das it mayne!! Full disclosure, I wore Encre Noir during the day so it may have influenced the experience, but holy cow this is the best version yet! Encre Noir (original) starts out simplistic and can sometimes give me a headache or irritate my nose, but that is all worth it once it really settles in and develops. EN Sport improves on this with more complex scents blending together and greater development through the dry down, as well as a lighter and easy overall fragrance to wear.
Encre Noir a l'extreme combines the best features of both previous versions without making you wait for it to settle or develop. The first spray of l'extreme smells to me like the dry down of Encre Noir, that hnnnnng masculine scent that normally needs time to shine with the original. Contrary to it's namesake, l'extreme is not a fragrance bomb engulfing you in a cloud of cologne. It is smooth, light (but not lacking), and friendly. Encre Noir OG/Sport both feel like they instill a sense of professionalism, prim and proper behavior with each wearing, while l'extreme gives a similar masculinity that can be playful too.
I'm really overthinking this fragrance. The previous Encre Noirs are simple scents that just work. The original is strongest and linear in purpose, sport opened up more seasons and notes, and l'extreme perfected the entire experience. If you like any version of Encre Noir, l'extreme is a must have. If you have mixed feelings about previous iterations of Encre Noir, l'extreme is worth a try as it has the best chance of making you a believer!
Now after all of that, I'll confess that my SOTRainyDay is the one and only GIT. Happy Friday everyone!
