have my partner tase them, if im by myself try to stall if possible and wait for backup, if all else fails then shoot
I mean fuk..there are tons of other cops in other countries who handle situations like this and are able to get it resolved without killing people...in the UK kunts are always walking around with blades and the cops didnt even have guns until recently.

so just kill her instead. who was backing up 2 feet and tasing her. its a knife, not a gun. you dont have to use deadly force on something that's only deadly if you're within arms reach of somebody. they could have tased her or used non lethals
if they pulled up and she was in the middle of stabbing someone to death, that's the only time I can think of that makes sense to kill herI'm Negan

All due respect. Krav is nice. But it's not the same as someone trying to kill you or being lethal threat.
Shooting them in the extremities doesnt render that limb useless automatically.
I have a good friend who got in a fight because he was banging a married woman. He got shot twice in the chest with a large caliber handgun. At nearly point blank range. He ran almost 1/4 of a mile before passing out and he survived.
You would think you could take a knife off a female. We all would like to think that. Until she severed a tendon and your hands or arms never work right again. Meanwhile she continues to stab you to death.
Look up the force continuem. A police officer goes one level higher. You don't try to get a knife from someone. You command them to drop it or you drop them.
I'd like to see people on here work one week as a cop in a large city like Los Angeles.
People make me laugh here.
I've been in lethal force encounters. I've been shot at. I've had to shoot too. I've been stabbed multiple times.
It happens fast. There is no reset button.
As they say in the USMC.... Whoever does the most violence in the shortest amount of time wins.
Think about that."Johan tells me that your luggage, is the luggage of the poor."

Another internet genius. ...
Backing up 2 feet or 10 feet solves nothing. She can move forward faster than you can back peddle.
Secondly tasers are not always effective. They don't always connect. Clothing can interfere with them. Drugs or adrenaline can limit or cancel their effectiveness.
A taser is for non lethal force. A knife is lethal force. You don't taser a person with a gun or a knife sir.
What in the actual fawk is wrong with half of you?? You can't all be trolling."Johan tells me that your luggage, is the luggage of the poor."
