Hope everyone had a great weekend! Tahoe was gorgeous. Low 70s with a cool breeze and 60s at the top of the peak I was hiking. It couldn't have been better.

I think your friend would be right. It's tough although rehab is very much a mental game. It's an up and down rollercoaster.

It really depends on when I get asked how my rehab is - the answers vary from day to day. I was feeling great late last week, and the early part of the weekend. Moving around great, no brace, no crutches, and flexion/extension was getting close.

However, I got too excited about my ability to walk brace-free, and put too much stress on the knee by being back at work, walking, standing, and generally acting with little to no limitations for a few consecutive days. Each day the knee got a little more swollen. When the knee starts to swell, the quad - which has troubling activating already - fires even less which places even more stress on your knee. Essentially it compounds the problem of the knee swelling. The best thing to do is RICE and try not to be a hero. I'm still in the early stages of recovery and need to act accordingly.

I took the day off from the office, working from home, because it's that swollen and uncomfortable. So today, I'm a giant dunce and should sit in the corner while everyone flicks boogars at me. I knew better.

I'm sure you know this, but staying lean and keeping the lower back/love handles at bay is just as hard as achieving it. You really have to stay at it.

That said, you look great.

It might be time to go balls to the wall if you want to get those last 5 lbs off.

At least one silver lining, the shift I did yesterday will count as 2 holds on my books since it exceeded 16 hours.

They told me I could come in an hour later tonight if I wanted (to keep 8 hours between shifts) but then 1 hour of my OT would go to straight pay... fu** that, I'll be more tired but have more money....

Yea its a constant fight to keep it down but Im really determined now to stay lean and not bulk again

I think Boo looks fine. He's at that good stage where as I said he looks better than most men his age or in his age range. He can go to the local Cuban nightclub and have women 30 years his junior slither all over his body speaking to him in tongues he doesn't quite understand while whispering to him to do them, and playfully call him daddy. And yes, I did just get done watching a B flick about two adults hooking up with college girls.

yea, have to ramp up my game here, interesting thing is even on this low deficit for so long and training fasted, I have way more energy so been taking advantage of it and increasing the poundage

Honestly, at my age, and all of the above, I dont know where the phck I get this energy from (well caffeine hehe) but theres so much more energy at this weight than 160s were
