This contest will last 48 hours!

For the second contest, post a picture of someone doing something incredibly unhealthy. Yes, skydiving without a parachute is hazardous to your health, but keep these health and fitness related. Have fun with this one!

the show fit to fat to fit. Honestly I love the show but for the trainers to go from working out daily and being coaches to not working out for 3-4 months and gaining > 50 lb's is very unhealthy

I feel so lucky that smoking is something I have never been tempted to get into. I tried it when I was 16 like everyone else, but luckily I thought it was disgusting.

Smoking with a paper will always be cancerous (carcinogen) and burning a plant will also give off hazardous chemicals. Hold your breath around smokers, cars and BBQs/smokehouses!

Another incredibly unhealthy habit though.
Playing on the phone before bed. Sleep is so vital for recovery and the lights from your phone seriously impair melatonin production ultimately leading to poor sleep and recovery. Sleeping is one of the most basic things we can do to seriously improve our results from training and it is soooo overlooked.

Biting nails. Drives me crazy when I see my kids with their hands in their mouths. It's hard enough to stay healthy without putting those germs directly into your mouth.

I'm actually having my students write a formal essay on the negative effects that video games have on students. I'm getting some very sad responses. both poorly written and very weak arguments from some of them saying it's okay to play hours and hours of games.

Edit: I'm not even against a video game session here and there. But I'm talking about when kids play nothing but video games. The affects are clear.
