True. Most of the ads were all social media driven. Didn't see anything on tv - probably due to content. haha

Always been a fan of Superman since I was a kid. Loved Batman in the Lego movie - Ha!... He's too cool... My 6yr old is a Batman fan and put it all into perspective for me. He said "daddy, I would be Batman because he isn't allergic to Krytonite".. I gotta go with the 6yr old on this one.

Saw Batman vs Superman last night. It was ok, but I just really enjoyed how it set up for a Justice League movie with the brief appearances of Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg.

I saw Deadpool on Valentines when it was released and again the week after because it was so good! I highly recommend seeing it if you haven't already, but just a warning: this one is not for the kids lol

I really enjoy superhero themed movies. Some of the movies I am really looking forward to this year are Captain America:Civil War, X-Men:Apocalypse, TMNT, and even Suicide Squad looks interesting from the trailers I have seen.

I have seen the majority of superhero movies release over the past several years but one I have yet to see is Ant-Man. I know I will watch it at some point but has anyone here seen it or have thoughts about it? I just can't imagine Paul Rudd in an action movie

You know that the movie was on a very limited budget. Wife was telling me that on one of the shows she watches they were saying how cheap old time music was used and that they repeatedly used it to save $$. It was really great movie and was true to the character.

The trailer for this looked interesting for sure. Haven't seen Winter Soldier yet. Not the biggest Captain America fan though. He is a little flat as a character.

Can we just talk about real movies, like the original spider man series and the original batman. Those were the only real movies I liked. Today's movies are just not my cup of tea. Deadpool is an exception because they made it into a comedy

You're referring to the Batman's done by Christopher Nolan right? Because the ones that came before were comical - Clooney as Batman and Arnold as Mr. Freeze haha

Turned on Batman and Robin on Netflix a few weeks back and couldn't agree more, that was horrible!

It is funny because of how ridiculous it is. Nolan completely resurrected the Batman. Surprisingly, Snyder's Batman was decent too (even more surprisingly because Affleck played him) - this is largely because he basically reproduces Frank Miller's comic version of Batman, a dark, eminently violent even sadistic Batman.

Good call, her part of the new movie was kinda awkward, didn't give her a proper intro imo.

My superhero, if you can call him one, is Tarzan. I've read all the original books by Edgar Rice Burroughs which are among the absolute best books I've ever read, and now, after a few crappy Tarzan movies (Greystoke with Christopher Lambert was the best), we got a new one this summer I am friggin stoked about. Plus, it stars Alexander Skarsgård from the True Blood series. Dude got ripped for this too!
