I dropped my weight in the same calorie range in 2014. Then maintained all of last year (moving up and down between 148 and 152.5.) My maintenance calories when not cutting are 2350. As soon as I start cutting I lost 200 off that and then have to chop 500 off of that to lose a pound a week. Like you, I just want to get it done at this point. I turn 40 in late July and am determined to be done cutting by that point and not just in a "well I'll maintain for awhile" way. Done done. Stick a fork in me, I'm done, done.
That interview was great, right? I'm a big believer in diet breaks. When I was in the throes (sounds way more exciting than it was) of my big weight loss I could go longer and would just take one when I started feeling hungry all the time. I didn't normally feel hungry, even eating at a good deficit, so once I started thinking about food and wanting to gnaw my arm off I knew I'd need a break. I think I took 3 (maybe 4?) week long breaks that year. By the time I got to the end of them I was always re-energized and ready to get back to cutting. You'll feel much better after this!
Fairlife drinker here too. I'm lactose intolerant and think that most lactose free milk has a weird sweet taste to it. I switch back and forth between Fairlife and milk from a local dairy that pasteurizes but doesn't homogenize it. The cream floats to the top and I love opening a bottle and scooping it out to eat. My husband thinks it is disgusting to watch and refers to it as "chunky milk." But, anyway, the non-homo milk doesn't cause me any LI problems.

Well today i plan on doing cardio and weights and plan on getting in more veggies.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Black coffee and banana PWO crew checking in!
Felt dehydrated when I woke up this am even though I drink on average 4L of water a day. Could it be due to cutting more carbs, more animal protein intake or the 5g creatine im taking in daily?
Week 1 weigh in this am was 175.2 but with the feeling of dehydration i expect it to creep up a bit this week.
Everyone is crushing it so far!!Fierce 5
Squat 65 -> 205
Bench 95 -> 225
RDL 95 -> 200

Starting week 1 in a hole.
Weigh in this morning was 243.5.
I think most is water, lots of coffee & water since Sunday night with most of the time just sitting & wating.@EmmittSmith22: Circumstances may force you to change your short-term goals. That doesn't mean you can't stay focused on your long-term goals.

down 4 to 224 this morning! Feeling pretty good about that - but I know it is really mostly water. No worries - gotta start somewhere - and on a cut - that means water. great job so far everyone! to those of you who gained - just stay with it - the scale will fall into place!

Rough week, rough weekend.
I think that I'm turning the corner on getting over cough & cold. Those decongestants have me constipated as hell.
Took two days off in a row.
Diet has been a disaster all weekend. Looking to get back on track today. Damage control, and it would appear that the damage was limited.
On the plus side, I'm over 3 weeks since my last drink of pop, that's probably longest since I was 10 years' old. Got to be more disciplined in the grocery store!
My weight fortunately through all of this is stagnant.
Start weight 217.0, week 1 weigh-in 217.2.ABILITIES: In car mode, his engine emits vibration that causes mechanical failures in other vehicles...can speed to 200 mph...uses concussion cannon in robot mode (for similar breakdown results in other vehicles)
PROFILES: Extreme self-consciousness...thinks everyone is staring at him--even other cars and stoplights...finds heavy traffic nerve-wracking...would prefer to be human so he'd fit in better...prone to leaky fuel pump.

I'd like to join you guys. Last time it did not go so well but I am sure it will this time. My stats:
Current weight: 284.5 lb
Goal weight: 274 lb
I am being a bit more conservative in my expectations because its been a while since things worked out. I do hope I beat this goal easily so that I can set my sights on another one before the end of the competition.
Gl everyone!

Anyone else experience extreme water retention "whooshes"?
Yesterday morning i weighed in at 166 in the morning, had really good day calorie wise (1500-1600cal) then weighed in at 171.5 before bed. Then this morning i weighed in at 164.4 !
Not trying to over analyze. I know it was just water retention. Its just intetesting, that i could be holding 7 lbs of water, and then it lose overnight. Where does it go?! Lol
