Yesterday was leg day brah. Today is chest day.
Those look janky af. I have some "adjustable dumbbell" handles that are made by Gold's, I think. They're like mini Oly bars, they're alright. I'd really like to have a set of these:

But they're expensive. I need to get bumper plates first.RIP YGST

Got done with work a little early today so I decided to hit up the range with my roommate and shoot my Glock 19 for the first time and get some more practice with my Ruger GP100
The guns
Of course we didn't check if we had staples in the staple gun or that we had targets. So we had to use a bungee cord and some paper plates instead of actual targets. We shot at about 10-12 yard.
The plate on the head is my Glock 19
The middle plate on the left is my Ruger GP100 single action
The middle plate on the right is my Ruger GP100 double action
A little bite from my Glock 19. I did not receive the extra backs or grips when I bought it from a friend. I will look into getting a new grip since it is a little uncomfortable to shoot as it bites into my thumb bone.
We shot some steel plates as well. And of course my fat POS Armor roommate beat me and wont stop rubbing it in my Infantry face.
The grouping for my pistols are a little poor and I am not that experienced with shooting pistols. I am going to blame it on the factory sights of both of my pistols and not because I suck at shooting pistols. Once I replace the sights on both and get some more range time I hope I will shoot a little cleaner.US Army - 11A

I shoot Expert on qual consistently on the M4. Never had a pistol growing up and bought my revolver at 21 so I definitely need to practice. I might have an opportunity to go to classes taught by the Army Marksmanship Unit.
15 yards maybe. I didn't really measure out the distance but yeah I get it, I suck at shooting pistols.US Army - 11A

Yea I was excited about my new build lol. But I did piece it all out. I didn't like any of the fully assembled uppers or lowers that are out there. Aside from Daniel Defense uppers but they're expensive and BCM uppers I dont like key mod rails.
It was pretty simple for the most part, i did destroy the trigger guard set screw. I was only worried about head spacing but i had a lgs check it and test fire it. Then i fired it myself.
I didn't choose the best of all the separate parts but tried to get at least intermediate and not bottom of the barrel parts.

For those of you who carry 9mm, what load do you trust the most for self defense? Federal HST 147gr standard pressure looks pretty great
