Thoughts on 10 man mock picking 3rd.

QB - Stafford
RB - Gurley, Charles, Ingram, Gordon, Duke Johnson, Abdullah
WR - K Benjamin, Edelman, J Matthews, Marvin Jones, Crabtree
TE - Allen

Probably look something like this for starting roster:
QB - Stafford
RB - Gurley and Charles (assuming 100% healthy week 1)
WR - Edelman and Benjamin (assuming both are 100%)
TE - Allen
K - Stream
DEF - Stream

weak for a 10man IMO, should have grabbed a better WR, i dont think benjamin will be that great this year honestly and edelman is an injury risk

Kelvin Benjamin as your WR1 in a 10 man...not good IMO. Could be wrong. And Edelman is made of glass.

I would take any of those WRs over Ingram, especially since you took two RBs already.

You think Kelvin will be a top 10 WR?

I like Ingram and have for years, but if I already have my starting RB's both filled, and I have zero WR, and it's Denaryius (?) Thomas or Ingram, I take Demaryius so I have a WR1. I think.

nothing wrong with ingram but if that were the case your 2nd pick should have been a WR like Evans, Allen, Jordy etc

Honestly, its not a terrible trade. Henry will get a lot more playing time than Deangelo once Bell is back, but if it was me I'd make him overpay for DeAngelo.

I guess I don't understand why you're pointing this out then. I went RB/RB. Come 3rd round, there wasn't a Top 10 WR left. I never claimed Benjamin was going to be Top 10, but he'll be in my WR1 spot. I wouldn't be surprised if he finished Top 15. But, everyone has their opinions on him. Only time will tell whose right.

I guess having potentially 3 Top 10 RBs on the roster means nothing since I "only" have WR2s.

Time will tell if those are WR2's as well. Edelman for example has had one season in the top 20 (3 years ago) and Brady is out 4 games.

The RB's are certainly great.

-big guy
-winston with a year under his belt
-solid #s last year despite "down" season w/ drops
-a still-serviceable vincent jackson across the field from him to draw attention
-good running game on team

i really like him and would draft w/ confidence. personally would rank him at #8 or in that neighborhood

Thoughts on this mock? 12 team league, drafting 9th, standard rules no PPR. Been playing around with drafting RB/RB, RB/WR, WR/RB, etc and I'm never completely happy with all my starters. Not big on Elliot but if he drops to me I'd have a hard time saying no.

RB: E. Elliot, Hyde, DeAngelo, Sproles, Chris Johnson
WR: A. Robinson, Decker, Floyd, Funchess, T. Benjamin, Treadwell

not really sold on your 4th/5th RBs/DeAngelo after the first 3 weeks

everything else looks good

Does anybody else reach for a DST if they are very very happy with their draft? I'm considering it at the 12/13 to grab 1 of denver, seattle, arizona, or carolina.

10/11 is probably too early to be thinking dst/kickers, but then again if i feel like i raped the **** out of the draft i may reach.

i normally stream DSTs and kickers, usually wait til 14, 15th pick

Same, but feel it be nice to have a top D each week and just let em do their thing instead of gambling on drafting the 12th round odb of 2016
