Why? He seems very happy and intelligent. He is already doing some post secondary edu. and composes his own music. If I have kids I fully intend to control their diet and promote fitness. All these kids out there now adays eating empty calories, not only does it make them fat, it has to be affecting their mental development aswell. Imagine how smart kids/people COULD be if they followed a healthy lifestyle.

This kid is also known as "The Little Hercules". From what I read about him in the past, his parents found out he was quite strong early on and fostered his growth in that direction. Some kids are very strong/agile for their ages early on.
I babysit a five year old girl who is quite strong naturally and loves running. My own teenagers were like that when very little. Now my 17 year old daughter is 6 foot tall and my 20 year old son is 6 foot 3 inches. My daughter does keep herself pretty fit by helping raise the animals we have.
My son helps his father out in our family run traditional blacksmith shop.....building his muscles with old fashion hammering out swordblades and other historical weaponry. His father learned the Armourer's Craft on his own at age 14. He is now 63 and well built. Looks more like a powerlifter in his build from all this working steel for so many decades.
The boy can bench more than any of us! He has been able to since he was 6. Weight training from such a young age, even up to the early teens to such an intensity can cause all sorts of problems in the future, same with a restricted diet. Do you really think the little kid is getting enough calcium to prevent osteoporosis when he is older? I just think it is sad...
sure, there is more calcium in broccoli then there is in milk. They are also very careful with which exercises he is allowed to do and not. For example, because of the open growth plates in the spine, he has to wear a special weighted vest in order to do squats. It goes on in the website about his training, it sounds like it has been thouroughly researched and doctor approved. To me the bottom line is he loves it. Gymnastics does more damage to your bones/growth then proper weightlifting and yet nearly every parent has their kids try it at one time or another. Seems like the far lesser of 2 evils.

There are people born as midgets, some born as giants....I'm sure he was born with great genetics for muscular development, which he's capitalizing on.

I have a cousin that is naturally jacked too. He is only 16, has never touched a weight nevermind steroids. He looks better then most of the people on this board the same age. Striations all over the place, huge back and chest, flat 6 pack. Has been that way all his life. If he would have gotten into fitness at Richards age there is no doubt in my mind he could have looked like that. And Im sure there are many kids out there who DO look like that. The difference is that these parents have gone public.

I met a girl last month at the bowling alley, which I'm training now, and she's a genetic freak. Twenty years old and very muscular, yet she never touched a weight until I got my claws in her. She has so much freakin' potential. I've been hitting the iron for 15 years now and shes bigger than I am.
I'm trying to interest her in competing since she can really do some damage on stage. However, I don't think she's too keen about getting up on stage in from of hundreds of people with less than a yard of material on.
I'm so jealous of her. I WANT her genetics!!!!!!!!!

holy ****. Coming from you thats saying alot. Its too bad there are so many genetic freaks out there with zero interest in persuing their potential. When one does come along who wants to use what they got someone always has to scream 'steroids'.
