The good/bad of drinking TONS of soymilk?

I'm gonna be staying in Vietnam for 3 months.

Long story short, it's hard to find protein here even in restaurants. They serve you TINY portions.

I plan on getting protein powder.

But one of the cheapest protein sources I've found is 100% natural unsweetened soymilk, which tastes like garbage but I've gotten used to it.

For the past week I've been drinking around 1/2 a Liter per day, every day.

Is this going to have any negative effects after 3 months?

"What’s moderation? In The Protein Book, I suggested a daily maximum of perhaps 20-25 grams of soy protein on a daily basis. Based on the average phytoestrogen content of most soy proteins (generally 2-3 mg phytoestrogen per gram of soy protein), that will keep most people below the threshold where any sorts of issues start to crop up.

I should mention that many foods are currently being fortified with soy protein (check the labels) and people may already be consuming soy protein in some amounts without knowing it. Adding more (e.g. through a soy protein powder) may very well take people above the level I suggested above."

What Mrpb said , and on top of that it's an inferior protein source compared to whey etc. but as long as your primary intake is based on non-soy sources you should be fine.
http://suppversity.blogspot.ca/search/label/soy has several write ups on soy if you fancy reading about it.

I've heard your body does not actually absorb it or convert it into estrogen internally though. Not sure.

that's part of why I asked here.

    Hey Hollywood,

Hope all is well. Since you'll be in Vietnam, you should have access to a lot of seafood. If you like fish it should be in abundance there just be careful of fish with high mercury levels. Also, should be plenty of rice to eat, too. I think you'll be alright with a whey protein and the food there just make sure to keep eating like an American!

    Best of luck!

Even organic/anti-plant protein/celebrity (female-dominant) trendy trainers like Kim Snyder are recommending that people steer clear of too much soy. If you want something watery and unfulfilling, drink some almonds or something.
