Forskolin w/ Intermittent Fasting

Has anyone tried using forskolin while intermittent fasting? If so, what time of the day did you take it, and did you see any noticeable results?

In general, you want to take forskolin 20-30 minutes before your meal (it's best taken fasted), so I would take it 20-30 minutes before you break your fast.

If it's bulk forskolin, timing won't matter. Some people get GI distress with it, in which case you can dose it with food to try to minimize that (running a high percentage forskolin, like forskolin 95%, can also help with that). There are, however, products that contain other ingredients besides just forskolin (PEScience Anabeta Elite, PEScience Shift, Neogenix Supremacy, etc), in which case it's best to follow the instructions on the bottle.

agree with vo2 here... not so much a timing issue unless you get upset stomach.. I used f95 last year at the start of my IF diet experiment.. it works quite well in just about every situation ive used it in, but yea, worked real well while fasting

Another thing to take into consideration, if you're using Forskolin along with a beta-agonist, dose them together for maximal weight loss and body composition changes.

Thanks for the reply! The one I got is 20% standardized 250mg forskolin capsule, no other ingredients on label. If timing isnt an issue, than I'll just follow directions on bottle and take 30 min before a meal. One more question tho. Since one capsule is 25mg, should I take the full 50mg serving at once or split it up?

This sounds promising, thanks! Did you ever take forskolin during the fasting period itself? Would it possibly work better, or just make you more hungry?

With 20% I'd probably split it up to try to minimize GI sides.

Edit: Wait. I just re-read this. Each 20% 250mg capsule is 50mg forskolin, not 25mg.
