Was working out with two Asian guys today( Philipino's) and thought about it.


I cant think of many negative stereotypes about Asians, maybe basic chit like they wake up too early to mow the lawn or something, or they have a weird connection with cars, my old neighbour who is Chinese used to take up half my parking spot with his camry..I used to rage

Here in North America


-Asians arent very violent

-They dont seem to contribute to poverty stats ( never seen an homeless Asian)

-They are either athletic or smart

- Generally either end up in great jobs or with a job in general

- Usually cool people socially, I have a few Philipino and Viet friends and they get along with all races etc

- Education is very embedded in their culture

- They are innovative

- I notice that they never try to impose their way of life on you, IE: telling you that their way is better or your way is wrong or the Asian way is the only way

- They dont get caught up in religious, racial bullchit

- They support each other

- Their food is amazing

I love Pad Thai. In university, my roomie was a Korean girl. She was also the cleanest roommate I ever had. Never a dirty plate or things like that and a reasonable too with her alcohol.

nope, I do notice the ones that come here for school stick to themselves...which Im sure is because of the language difficulty. They come from the other side of the world its such a different culture

Out here in Cali we have like 6-7 million Asians. Guess what, you will never imagine this. We see homeless Asians, Asians working in the fields, Asians in Welfare, Asian gangs, Asian Mobsters, Asian Scum and oh yea, I "assume" some are good people.
