Finally done with Surgery, 3 months of hell. I'd never thought I could work 12-16 hour days with only 5-6 hours of sleep but Surgery proved I could and I never want to do that again.

Finally done with Surgery, 3 months of hell. I'd never thought I could work 12-16 hour days with only 5-6 hours of sleep but Surgery proved I could and I never want to do that again.

Surgery is hit or miss. Mine wasn't as bad as yours. Hard to study for it during actual rotations either way, so its always nice to have IM prior.

No e-stats, but this one had by far the best ratio of score:time put in studying. Everything was some personality disorder, and 99% of the pharm was SSRI.

Ortho was a mess. The one ortho applicant from our M4's who everyone thought had a shot at some top tier places ended up not matching. Dude has been building an ortho application since like undergrad.

Seriously. I feel like all the people gunning for ortho from undergrad are the ones who didn't do well. Everyone who ended up falling into it because they actually realized the liked and matched the best.
