I was on a 6500 calorie diet for a while 4000 can be easily done. I can get like 2000 calories in 2 meals.
Its alot easier jaime when you can drink a major part of the calories, i think eating 5000-6500 real food calories a day would be harsh.
it sounds funny to hear 6500 calories and diet in the same sentence....lol

Hey some of you guys sound pretty experienced, so maybe you can field this one. Why cut now? Since the summer is pretty much over, doesn't it make more sense to bulk when fall nears?
I'm on my "first" bulk, meaning first structured attempt at gaining, and so far it goes pretty well. Do you usually cut and bulk more than once a year? If so, what do your cycles run in weeks? Will a bulk cycle be more effective if it is spaced out between cuts and vice versa? I know that at a certain point in either direction there are usually genetically predetermined points of diminishing return.

Hey guys i was just curious if this seems right. I used the massive eating calculator from John Berardi's website and it said i should consume 3337 calories per day. I only way 141 pounds with 5% bodyfat. This seems like way to much for me because if i did a 40% protien 40% carb and 20% fat I would have to consume 333.7 grams of protien which is 2.35 times my body weight I think this is way to much protien as you should only be consuming about 1.5-2 times bodyweight. Is this correct? And if I went about cutting would I drob this about 500 cals or so.

As much as I like to eat sometimes I wonder if I'm even reaching 2K calories...
You claim the calories add up fairly quickly? The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and hear all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds. ~Henry Rollins

yep, my problem when bulking is eating too much, even using complex carbs, i would eat bowls and bowls of baked beans with wholgrain rice (oh my god, you really need to visualise when i let go a fart )
thankfully the keto diet allows me to kind of pig out on carb up days ;-)
