ive taken it off and on for a few years. It helps a good bit, but for me, my tolerance easily went up. and keep in mind that kratom is fiber.

Just ordered half a key of two kinds. Couple of old college buddies are regular users, both with reasons for pain management as well as productive professionals with technical degrees. I'm gonno give it a shot.

The answer is obvious, do you really want to depend on something in order to accomplish a natural task most humans should be able to perform? If you want to experience the lower anxiety, and more outgoing effect of an herb (or drug), then go for it. Just don't use it every time, or every other time when you set your mind to going out and meeting girls.
This will only place your mind and thought process on a time to live setup - where you'll consume said item, and once its out, you'll be like cinderella in rags again.
Not only this, but you can build a great tolerance to it. This will make you take even more of it, and eventually the withdrawal symptoms will kick your ass. I'm not sure about Kratom, but I've heard that on Phenibut, the withdrawal can be as critically severe as wanting to commit suicide. This has affected many long time users who were taking tons of it a day. The worse can be horrible headaches, anxiety, insomnia, lethargy, depression, etc.
Just be careful. I did phenibut, and I enjoyed it, but I stopped using it.How to stay MOTIVATED: Take it one day at a time, surround yourself with positivity, create a vision board, make S.M.A.R.T. goals, reward yourself, BELIEVE in yourself, acknowledge your positive attributes, recognize your progress, visualize accomplishing your goals, be kind to yourself, and above all - DON'T COMPARE yourself to others.

Been using it for over half a year now. Great stuff. Tastes like chit though, you want to put your dose into some juice in order to cover up the taste. Orange juice, and apple juice both cover up the taste of it real well. If you want to amplify the effects of it, put the dose into 1 glass of grapefruit juice, this amplifies the effect.
If you want to feel energetic/refreshed take 1-2 grams. If you want to feel sedated/relaxed take 4-5 grams at once. If you're new and this is your first time don't take more than 2 grams. You'll build tolerance to it overtime, so it is important not to go overboard right away.

There are also extracts, stay away from those for as long as you can. They'll raise your tolerance through the roof. Usually it takes 10 grams of leaf to make 1 gram of extract, but about 25% of that is lost in the extraction process, if you take the extract a lot (which is way stronger), your tolerance is gonna go through the roof quickly.
You can't overdose on either the leaf or the extract. If you take way too much you'll get nausea and vomit it out right away, it's a defense mechanism of the plant. Make sure you drink plenty of water when taking it since it is very dehydrating. Another method of consumption is boiling hot water and making a tea from it, but it's your call how you want to consume it.
Take breaks every few days. A good rule of thumb is 1 day on, 2 days off, that way you'll be able to keep your tolerance low for quite a long time. After a few months there are going to be some withdrawals but most are mild and generally consist of some depression and anxiety, but nothing too bad.
There are 3 different types of strains. White, green, and red.
White=most energetic
Green=50/50 energetic/sedating
Red=most sedating
Strain rotation is a good way of keeping your tolerance low. Always take a different strain each time, and don't forget the 1 day on, 2 days off rule.
