a series of short tasks over a relatively longer period of time is life. altruistic light moves under the cover of your own darkness.. find this inner torch bearer and accompany them to the end. we all walk together, but we all walk alone. there is no understanding or purpose beyond that

Hahahahaha.
Somehow I managed to have a sixteen year career in investment banking, and never worried about my height once.
The only reason I might consider the height is because, well, $500k is like 2-3 months' pay as an M&A managing director. Add another month or so to pay off the taxes.I'm always angry.

I've studied height extensively. I've probably done the most comprehensive review of every height discussion and poll on the internet of anyone out there. Lemme tell you what....
Hands down, 6'0-6'2 is the golden range. That's why the model industry selectively looks for guys in this range. It is, a majority of the time, the intersecting point between optimum aesthetics, athletic ability, and appropriateness for social situations. In this range, you are considered tall by pretty much everyone. At the same time, your body has likely not been exposed to excessive amount of growth hormone which would have resulted in lankiness or improper physical development known as acromegaly. 6'2 is usually the upper limit before guys start looking awkward and have poor motor skills such as coordination and balance. Even if you are taller than 6'2 and are aesthetic and athletic, you now still have the problem of being too tall for your environment and for many women. There are some size queen freak women out there who think "the taller the better", but for most women they just want you to be tall but not too tall. I honestly would not want to be any taller than 6'2. Most people are really fuking deluded nowadays anyway and they don't realize just how big 6'0 is. That's because every 5'10-5'11 ******* claims they are 6'0 and people think it isn't tall. 6'0 gives a very impressive overall appearance especially if you are somewhat muscular.
There was also an Indian researcher who concluded that 6'1 is the optimum natural height that a man's body will develop to. This is because any taller and men start to experience negative side effect such as back problems and a shorter life span.

If you are 6'3 then its totally fine, but in my opinion is too big to be optimum. If you want to live a long and comfortable life where you are treated well by women and respected by men, you are all set within the 6'0-6'2 range.
I'd take the $500,000 unless I was less than 5'10. And even then, I would ask to be 6'1-6'2 instead.Last edited by Droz88; 02-20-2016 at 05:12 PM.

6'3" because 500k is easier to make than dunks at 5'6"

lmfao investment banking is filled with 5'10 - 6'1 subhumans, if you want to be 6'3 to get into IB you must be pretty ****.
And then there is the cost of getting in, I doubt a ******* like OP could work 90 hours a week on average with the odd 120 hour week.
IF you are talking CEO status that is another story but it applies to all other disciplines.

Definitely height especially if i get to keep my proportion in muscle. Being short sucks, its something i dont dwell on, i know height doesnt make the person. But i'd love to be tall, i'd be happy at 6'1 to be honest.
