Your conclusion is wrong if you conclude that a low CHO diet = weight loss. A caloric deficit regardless of the macronutrient composure will result in weight loss.
Joesy, your post are getting more and more delusional as time goes on. You may not notice it now or ever but one day hopefully you will see the overwhelming effect conformation bias is having on you. When you are doing your research on any given topic nutrition and weight lifting for example and you find an answer that you like or want to hear, you must research the criticisms of these claims and give them equal respect with the most objective thinking you are capable of. Unfortunately for you, you lack this critical step (proper skepticism) in most everything you do. You wonder why people are acting hostile towards you in person (thread you made), and your assumption IIRC is that they are "jealous" and "hating" for non rational reasons when it fact, what you perceive as yourself being "confident" is actually stage 5 arrogance.Last edited by Joseph1990; 02-20-2016 at 02:43 PM.

Heres what we need. A study that is not in a lab, where somebody eats a LCHF diet at maintenance calories or slightly above and keep a log of it here on bb.com nutrition forum and see the real world results. not a lab where we dont know exactly whats going on.
It would have to be somebody with integrity, is not pro LCHF or Pro whatever else, someone with a lot of time to detail every single thing! Someone who has a decent amount of fat to lose. someone like......ME. Id be willing to do it if people wold follow along or if its even something people would be interested to follow...if not, please ignore this post

no Im just talking about a LCHF diet at maintenance or slightly above, where everything is logged, from what you eat to exercise, just to see if REAL weight loss occurs, not water weight. Just go by what the pictures and bodyfat test says. I can be VERY OCD about tracking stuff lol I understand where OP is coming from I really do because I use to feel the same way

No one needs another log of a overweight man on a keto diet.
Do it if you want to, but please don't try and pass it off as science. You can't get much done in life if you only work on the days when you feel good.
