    Seperating Egg Yolks

    I would have to apologize if this sounds more like a culinary question than a bodybuilding one, but I do not know where should I post this question other than this forum so. A while back I read about a simple way to cook eggs from some people in this forum, in that we can just crack many raw eggs into a bowl and put them to heat in the microwave. A question I have is that how could we separate the egg yolk from the egg white in this method? I am trying to aim for about 6 egg whites and 1 egg yolk a day, and the liquid egg yolks are really hard to seperate.

    You can separate egg yolks by passing the egg yolk between the shells and letting the whites fall into a bowl below. You can also just use your fingers.

    I hope you're saving the yolks for something tasty, like making your own pasta or making mayo with it.

    A better question would be, why would we want to do this?



    Almost half an egg's protein, along with all the other good stuff (micronutrients and fat) found in whole eggs, is contained in the yolk.
