Noticing the lack of anything resembling even a rudimentary bio in a bunch of fear-mongering, Bernie-is-a-bum hit piece threads I saw this blurb in a youtube description box. Nothing fancy just some basics about the man. Added a couple things I thought were important.
No one too special. No one too scary either.

“I don’t believe government should take over the grocery store down the street or own the means of production.” - Bernie SandersBernie Sanders Vows to Break Up "Too Big to Fail" BanksBernie Sanders is a Democratic candidate for President of the United States. He is serving his second term in the U.S. Senate after winning re-election in 2012 with 71 percent of the vote. Sanders previously served as mayor of Vermont’s largest city for eight years before defeating an incumbent Republican to be the sole congressperson for the state in the U.S. House of Representatives. He lives in Burlington, Vermont with his wife Jane and has four children and seven grandchildren.
Bernard “Bernie” Sanders was born in Brooklyn, New York, to immigrant parents and grew up in a small, rent-controlled apartment. His father came to the United States from Poland at the age of 17 without much money or a formal education. While attending the University of Chicago, a 20-year-old Sanders led students in a multi-week sit-in to oppose segregation in off-campus housing owned by the university as a Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) officer. In August of 1963, Sanders took an overnight bus as an organizer for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee to hear Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic “I Have a Dream” speech firsthand at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.
After graduation, Bernie moved to Vermont where he worked as a carpenter and documentary filmmaker. In 1981, he was elected as mayor of Burlington as an Independent by a mere 10 votes, shocking the city’s political establishment by defeating a six-term, local machine mayor. In 1983, Bernie was re-elected by a 21 point margin with a record amount of voter turnout. Under his administration, the city made major strides in affordable housing, progressive taxation, environmental protection, child care, women’s rights, youth programs and the arts. In 1990, Sanders was elected to the House of Representatives as the first Independent in 40 years and joined the Democratic caucus. He was re-elected for eight terms, during which he voted against the deregulation of Wall Street, the Patriot Act, and the invasion of Iraq.
In 2006, Sanders defeated the richest man in Vermont to win a seat in the U.S. Senate as an Independent. Known as a “practical and successful legislator,” Sanders served as chairman of the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs where he authored and passed the most significant veteran health care reform bill in recent history. While in the Senate, Sanders has fought tirelessly for working class Americans against the influence of big money in politics. In 2010, he gave an eight-and-a-half hour filibuster-like speech on the Senate floor in opposition to extending Bush-era tax breaks for the wealthy. In 2015, the Democratic leadership tapped Bernie to serve as the caucus’ ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee.
Known for his consistency on the issues, Senator Sanders has supported the working class, women, communities of color, and the LGBT community throughout his career. He is an advocate for the environment, unions, and immigrants. He voted against Keystone XL, opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership deal, wants to expand the Voting Rights Act, and pass the Equal Rights Amendment.

ADD:
Bernie Sanders is consistently one of the few senators who votes against NDAA military detention of US citizens without charge or trial, along with Rand Paul and Jim Demint.
ADD: Bernie Sanders has habitually joined any picket line he sees all his life, if it means showing up at 6pm to say howdy.

He's feeble old man who doesn't understand the difference between secure loans & unsecure loans. Doesn't understand how ATM fees work. Thinks there's a war on women & a gender wage gap. And hangs out with Al Sharton which by default makes him a piece of sh*t. Go look at his Twitter account. Fuking cringeworthy at how genuinely unintelligent this guy is. Doesn't he have anyone proof reading for him? Jesus.
Best thing to happen to America is if this demagogue piece of sh*t dies before the election (which is highly possible).

he isn't running sh*t. he has what is called a "staff" and a "campaign manager".
also, since you have refused to answer every time i ask, i will ask again. why do you support a candidate who wants to make the government more powerful? doesn't that make it easier for the government to conduct false flags and cover ups?I would die for Palestine

Sure right now I've got to pay thousands for junk private insurance under Obamacare, and I lift and can run any of you *******s into the ground. Guarantee. I don't like Bernie on gun control but if Obama hasn't been able to do anything he won't either. Lot's of people hunt in Vermont so he's not a knee-jerk lib afraid of guns.

But who was supreme court nominations? If Bernie gets elected the 2nd amendment is dead. Hell if the Republicans you despise don't hold firm it'll be lost in the next year. Will he go door to door collecting? probably not, but every leftist state will be able to institute a blanket ban and will set the stage for federal mass confiscation.

I'm on mobile. It's in the same clip that whoopie Goldberg is telling rand Paul on the view that automatic weapons need to be banned and anyone shouldn't be able to just walk in and buy one. So cringeworthy. If you're going to speak on a subject, at least learn about it and try to become knowledgable so you don't look like an idiot. Lazy Bernie. Wouldn't expect anything less from a guy who has failed at literally every career he's had and didn't earn a steady income until age 40
And yet people will vote for him 😂😂😂😂

Bernie hasn't held public office in Vermont since the '80's. He gives lip service to gun owners so he can keep his money train going but he continually votes for regulations and incremental bans, and has shifted his rhetoric to extremely authoritarian to match Clinton this campaign. DC/Heller was 5-4, 100% of the lib partisan judges Bernie would consider would shift that even if he gave no consideration to gun rights in his selection.

Automatic weapons are already banned.
I know lots of guys who job hopped in their 30s. Funny you would prefer someone like a corporate lawyer who right away knew he wanted a career stealing money from little old ladies who made bad investments in nuclear power stocks.
What about George W. Bush who didn't even stop drinking till he was 40 and then became governor of Texas riding on his daddy's coattails?

Um yea. You just made my point. He doesn't know the difference between automatic & semi automatic and the licensure to possess an automatic rifle. You'd think he'd take the time to learn these things before speaking on them.

Idk what gw bush has to do with this but our current president smokes cigarettes so I guess there's that.
I must have you confused with another poster. Always thought you were a pretty intelligent liberal but now I'm certain I must be thinking of someone else. Your copy & pasting in the OP then your inability to defend Berndog puts you somewhere in the middle of his voters who just want free sh*t and are angry they're too lazy to accomplish anything themselves.

Couldn't tell ya. I'm a registered democrat but I haven't been this confused since I was able to vote. Obviously the next president will be a democrat, and I'm ok with that. The GOP has failed miserable and honestly all they had to do was run a decent candidate up there and it was their election to lose. instead they put together a bunch of clowns and are sure to lose. Not a huge Hilary fan but I support her progression of equality. Bernie is a fukin trainwreck and I honestly haven't met one individual casting a vote for him that I would consider an intelligent person. Everyone's falling hard for the "free sh*t" campaign.
I don't think we're ready for another republican president and the castration of progress on equality in America just yet.
