Come on.
>>Glass-Stegall remains a law, the financial crisis doesn't happen as it requires a wall between investment and retail banking.
The government is not the federal reserve. People bought loans because the government encouraged lending to blacks/poor people.Yes, one of the main jobs for the Feds is to regulate the market. But the blame for sh*t hitting the fan first goes to the people for choosing to buy into an unsustainable system, second to the banks for propagating it, and then lastly to the government for not curbing it before it was too late

Your life will never be a straight path.”
“To not only take risks, but to be open to life. To accept new views and to be open to new opinions. While it may be frightening, it will also be rewarding. Because the chances you take… the people you meet… the people you love…the faith that you have—that’s what’s going to define your life.”
“And when you fall throughout life, fall forward.”

The Scandinavian countries follow social-democracy, which is basically a mix of capitalism and socialism. The way it works is that the government works together with the private sector to ensure full employment, a strong industry and a high standard of living.
The government provides free healthcare, free education(including university) and a generous welfare system, including paid maternity leave. However, they mostly leave the private sector to itself(as long as they treat their emplyees good), don't regulate businesses too much and provide tax cuts to those who start businesses and create jobs. Industries of national importance, for example oil and gas, are owned and operated by the government and private investors together, while other markets, for example the real estate market, has virtually no regulation at all and is almost laissez-faire.
We also have a moderate level of income taxation: about 20% for low income people, 32% for middle income and 45% for the rich.
The system is a success but I don't know if it can be applied to all countries.

I prefer Trump because he is strong willed, says whatever he thinks, doesn't give a fuark what others think about him, and he really has nothing to win by being president, so it seems that he really wants to "make America great again".
Bernie is a great guy with has some great ideas, but I don't think he is strong enough to make them happen.Kobe all life. Man City. Bengals.
