I don't want to make the same mistakes/regrets as you guys when I hit 30+, and I'm sure many other miscers are in my boat.
What are your biggest regrets so far? Or are you guys still too young to have regrets?
I just need a little bit of guidance on what doesn't matter so much, and what really matters, if you feel me?

Only 25 but my biggest regret so far...
- Spending all of high school and freshmen and sophomore of college in a relationship.
- Now I just date casually and am free to do want/who/when I want, no drama, zero stress and I'm so much happier- I'm sorry; I couldn't hear your complaints over the sound of all this freedom!

Not 30 but...
1) Not travelling more and backpacking...even if its 2 weeks at a time it's worth it and you won't be able to travel the same way when you're older.
2) Buying unnecessary ****
3)spending too much money on food.
4) Not working out more in my early 20's. A nice lean physique actually goes along way..aslong as your not super socially awkward

not taking care of myself better. I never seriously injured myself when lifting. Shoulder pain here and there and the occassion "oh chit...i went full potato" but its a learning experience.
My one tip to new lifters: DO NOT neglect your core. Ive always put up big numbers on lifts. 450+ on 1RM BP, shrugging 8 plates per side for 30-30 reps, 225 tricep dips (with me already at 240 lbs at the time) and still being able to run a sub 7" mile, I shied away from legs in general because of my low back issues and core work aggrivated it a lot. Now i'm paying for it. Ruptured L5/S1 in late 2012 and getting ready to find out what surgery i will need next

i got laid a LOT in my mid-late 20's. it was mostly worth it but true a lot of late nights spent dealing with women and their crap when i honestly could have just paid to get laid, which is more or less what i do now. to be clear it's at the very bottom of my list. the others i mentioned carry much more of an impact on my future

Fukk, so what I've gathered thus far:
Travel, don't buy unneccesary chit, don't spend money on food, work out more, don't open some misc threads, take care of yourself, work on your abs, and work on your legs.
So far so good. Learning lots of new things today.
Edit: also - get A's in class, don't spend too much time dealing with bitches chit, it doesn't matter if you're single.
Ps. Been with the same girl since I was 18 as well brahs, so single chit doesn't make sense to me.

You're 22, so I'm assuming you already have finished undergrad by now?
I'm not a brah, but my biggest regret is not getting a technical degree. Got a BA in print journalism. The only saving grace is I had scholarships to pay for all of it, so I never had any debt for school.
So yeah, get a degree that's worth your time and money, and if you have a bachelors already, go for a Masters.

AND don't go to jail and prison, but that kinda goes without saying, but thanks brah, likin the contributions.
Nah brudda, got two years to go, did 2 years of an electrical apprenticeship and then had dudes in the job telling me how depressed they were and how much they regret being a tradie, so I quit and went to uni for business, and then quit that and been loving life and uni doing an undergrad in CS (ICT) for the past two and a half years
Edit: and yeah I'm going for a masters, finish undergrad in a year though

Saw what you wrote op.
The issue with your situation is, it might not turn out the way it did for me.
- I've had friends who let go really good girls and now (24-26) are regretting it big time.
- It's easy for us to give you advice, we aren't the ones that are going to have to live with it. Hear what people have to say, but ultimately do what's best for you
I'll take the neg, maybe it will help you unrustle your jam jams
no worries- I'm sorry; I couldn't hear your complaints over the sound of all this freedom!

Not pulling my head in earlier and getting my finances sorted. All that money you piss up the wall on stupid chit could pay a good chunk off a mortgage or be invested. (Not saying be a scrooge. Just think about it before you update your electronics every year or drop a few hundred at the club etc.)
Caring what other people think so much. Just go about your business and be yourself. Don't be a jerk but don't try and change yourself to suit other people. You'll learn to know yourself and gravitate towards people that are similar or suited to you. You'll be happier than trying to put on some facade and be something you're not.
