how much calories do you burn doing 50min worth of basketball? like an actual game?
Half court?
Full court?
I've read some that say you burn 100calories per 10 minutes.
Some said ~350 an hour.
And some have said around 700.
So I'm confused. which one is it?

It really depends on you... Were you running back and forth every play? Were there times when you were just standing there? Did you run a lot of fast breaks? It's too hard for any of us to tell you.
Do you have a watch or what ever those devices are now that measure cals burned? They may be your best bet for your personal calorie burn when playing bball

I dont think someone can accurately tell you that.
Are you the PG running plays , passing through screens and shooting?
Are you the Center just standing and doing paint work?
Are you a spot 3pt shooter?
Is it just pick up bball? or just practicing alone bricking shots?
See, so many variables.
I add basketball every week and count it as my cardio, but I dont account for those calories.

There no way of really being able to know. At best, you can come up with a vague number that means nothing.
I've read some that say you burn 100calories per 10 minutes.
Some said ~350 an hour.
And some have said around 700.
So I'm confused. which one is it?
Secondly, there more to it than simply finding out the number of calories you burn. It also how many calories you burn afterward due to the increase in your metabolic created by Excess Post Oxygen Consumtion, "EPOC".
Third, what the reason for wanting to know some obscure fact like that?
The end result is your obsessing over a number you will never know that has no purpose.
There are more important thing to focus on.
Lose, Gain, The Same
If you are losing weight, you're expending more calories than you take in.
If you are gaining weight, you taking in more calories than you expend.
If you weight's the same, you intake and expenditure of calories is balanced.
Counting Calories
To determine the number of calories per week you are consuming in a week, perform a...
Three Day Recall
Count everything for three days. One of those days need to be a weekend day, when you eating usually changes.
Average the three days to find out the number of calories consumed on a daily basis.
If you are losing weight but want to maintain or increase your body weight, eat more.
If you want to lose weight, maintain your current diet and activity.
This is a much better, more effective method vs trying to find an answer that has none.
