    Pros:
    1. you get to apply what you learned in personal training with diverse clientele.
    2. Commission gives opportunity to earn a decent living if you are good with sales.
    3. All the equipment you need.
    4. Possible mentors.
    5. Freedom to work when you want (usually).

    Cons:
    1. Sales pressure. It becomes harder to sale as you gain clients and have to manage your time more carefully.
    2. Co-workers who might try to steal clients /leads.
    3. Split shift hours.
    4. 1-3% of gym clients are actually personal training market.
    5. Commission structure can change in a moment.

    2 cents:
Get as many clients in front of you as you can. Re rack the weights. Observing gym memebers like it. Don't be afraid to ask for the sale. I would recommend staying a short while, no more than 3-5 months. Once your confidence is built up, go into business for yourself if you can afford it.
