My interview with NFD is today at 3. A little birdie told me 4 women cracked the top 20% of the written exam and they NEED to hire at least 2. So my chances are at least 50/50.
I'm a little nervous.

I applied in October--/the deadline for applications was 10/31
I take the written exam the first week of December. Right after the first of the year the fireman sorta-boyfriend starts asking me "did you hear anything yet?" And I hadn't.
Then like 3 weeks ago he tells me the station house rumor is 4 women cracked the top 20% on the written and interviews start in the second week in February
That was weird because although about 40% were situational questions like "how would you handle <insert situation here>?" And uou pick AB or C
But 60% were academic questions and I know I answered them correctly
So I hear nothing and figured I must really blew those situational questions. So 3 weeks ago I go and dye my hair A DEEP violet. I love it and it looks really cool.
Of course 2 days after I do it I get the email saying the oral interview is on the 8th
It is done closed circuit though. So I played around with styles and videoed myself and o can make it look so you can't even tell I have VERY purple hair.Sheriff John Brown always hated me

I think it went okay. You get asked 6 questions and 3 they give you about 10 minutes before you go see the 3 person panel so you can prepare some replies. The other 3 were on the spot. I think I was thorough and complete.Originally Posted by bodyhard
