    Cardio in Sets?

Just wondering if anyone can comment or share their opinion on cardio workouts. I get bored easily so I break down my rowing machine sessions into 3 x 10 minute rounds. Row 2000 meters in about 10 minutes stop, go to abs machine do a couple of weighted abs, go back to rowing machine, row for 10 minutes back to abs, 10 min back on row then abs.

Is it better to do 30 minutes full stop?

It really depends on your goals. If you are trying to build endurance than you are better to do it in one big session. If you are doing it to lose weight you are honestly better off focusing on your weights and tightening up your diet.

If it makes your workout more efficient then you should keep doing it.

I personally do it 30 minutes non-stop, that way you will feel more tired and could also be improving cardiovascular health over time.

It really depends on your goals. I'm not a fan of steady state stuff at all but my goals are essentially speed and power, not endurance so I'll break things up. Plus I find that chopping up my cardio lets me do it at a much higher intensity than doing it all at once. One of my fave workouts is supersetting 200m sprints and push-ups to failure and I wouldn't be running as fast or doing as many push-ups if I just ran 2 miles then did a few sets of push-ups afterwards... although I do sacrifice stamina gains. So yeah, it's really a matter of what goals you've got.
