Day 7
251.7lb
Down 9.4lb
Got the scale to move back down! I took my one week progress photo today and I am pretty happy. I just want the progress to keep going because I have a long long ways to go. I'm buying body fat calipers today so I can see exactly where I am at and exactly how far I need to go. I think I want around 10-12% body fat. I'm hoping I can actually reach that.

Few questions.
1) Are you weighing yourself at the same time every day? I prefer to do it in the morning before breakfast but after my morning leak. Helps get all the water out and post impressive numbers haha!
2) Are you tracking your calories correctly? I measure things on a food scale using grams instead of going by cups.
If you're gaining weight, it's because you're eating more calories than you are burning.dy/dx (Weight Loss) = Calories

The food choices don't mean much in terms of losing weight. Could you perhaps photograph your meals for one day. I think that would give us a better indication of how MUCH you're eating, which is more important than WHAT you're eating.

Solid progress brother ! What I would advice you to do is take a weekly average and judge upon that , don't judge on your weight daily because weight can easily fluctaute from day to day , if I were you I would weigh my self each morning on an empty stomach and take a weekly average from week to week and see how it's going but other than that great progress keep it up ! .

Day 24
246.8lb
Down 14.3 lb
Approx 20% body fat
Haven't weighed in for a while now, but I am glad to see what the scale is at! I decided to keep at it and not weigh in for a bit so I did not get discouraged! Still don't have enough posts to post a progress picture yet, but I hopefully can get there soon!

Yes and I didn't even take a close look at your pic, but it would put you in rare company having that amount. A few days ago you estimated yourself at 6'0 255 24%, that would put you at 194lb LBM. The FFMI (pretty well respected) would tell you this:
If you were 135lb LBM (average for 6') at 247lb you'd be 45%
If you were 160lb LBM (top 5% for 6') at 247lb you'd be 35%
If you were 182lb LBM (pretty much genetic max for 6') at 247lb you'd be 26.5%

I'm back
Hello to everybody who has followed this log here. I know I have not logged in for a while now. Admittedly I have not been doing keto. I fell off of the bus. However, I jumped back on it last week and I'm ready to start giving updates again.....
Admittedly, I got up to 263.1lb. Lots of bad eating habits led up to the weight gain. I don't feel that my calipers offer a very consistent measurement, so I'd estimate around 30-32%...
Here's where I stand as of right now, after 7 days of keto. My strips are telling me that I am showing small-moderate amounts of ketones.
Day 7
252.4lb
Down 8.7lb
I'll be posting my meals today once i have all of it organized.

Keep going man.
Unfortunately cheat days happen - for those, I recommend holding off eating as long as possible. Taking a big dose of caffeine and eating a huge ass salad before anything.
Then eat things you missed but try to be moderate.Rugby, Judo, Basketball, MMA Fighter Crew (4-0).
