Khan's been wanting his big $$$ match for a while now, he's finally got it. I'm sure he'll lose, but then he'll have another big payday lined up vs brook regardless if he loses to Alvarez. So it's not really a bad situation for him at all. Then he'll retire.

You forgot to mention how he was wobbled at least 2 times against Algeri in his last fight.
If Khan at least had a decent chin OR power in his punches, I would only be mildly outraged. The fact is that he doesn't...
As much as Khan is being called out for chasing a big (and final IMO) pay day, Canelo should also be called out for being a pu$$y by not manning up and facing GGG instead of a feather fisted, glassed chin pitter patter speed machine in Khan.
Canelo will have no choice but to carry Khan for the 3-4 rounds before putting him away in the 5th. Any sooner and Canelo will look like an ******* the way Garcia did when he crushed Rod Salka.

They started ducking GGG the moment they signed to fight Cotto. Oscar went from "Canelo will fight GGG whenever, wherever" before they signed with Cotto, to "Canelo will fight GGG eventually, I'm not sure when" after they signed. Oscar doesn't want his cash cow to get rekt. I think Canelo will vacate his belt when the WBC forces Golovkin's mandatory challenger fight.
Agreed...this has the feel of a cash grab before retirement. I guess Khan isn't confident in beating Brook, and doesn't want that rivalry loss to hang over his head.

Amir Khan is a FRAUD
Him and his muslim friends have always wanted a money fight then they were going to leave the sport. they are frauds.
He didn't get the mayweather fight. he didn't get the pacquiao fight. those were the biggest two big money fights he cahsed for years and never got because he got KNOCKED OUT.
so now him and his muslim friends decided this was the next big money fight.
khan was always take the easy fight.
he will get knocked out and probally retire from the sport. or he will fight bums, keep his name up, then have another decend name and retire.
but it would not suprise me to never see him agfain after he gets knocked out.

Fuk off with your anti-Muslim crap and fuk off generally. "Easy fight" ok you dumb fuk...
Vargas - wouldn't surprise me if he did retire after losing, he's made his riches anyway.
Bottom line is no one can knock Khan. Very respectable resume after May:
Canelo
Maidana
Judah
Peterson
Garcia
Kotelnik
Alexander

Canelo's gonna have at least 15-20 lbs on him come fight night... Khan doesn't have a chin anyway. Props to him for taking this fight but I don't see how it benefits eiher of them.
Khan's probably gonna get KO'd and how does fighting a welterweight with no chin prepare you for Golovkin - a guy just as big as Canelo (ish) with an iron chin?
Definitely gonna be watching. Will be amazed if Khan pulls it off tho, holy chit.*Take a week off work for bad haircut Crew*

he wobbles at times but he pulls through
if his chin was truly that bad, surely he would've been finished more than twice in his career seeing as he's known for getting into brawls when he doesn't have to.
a fair few of those clips are bullchit off balance 'knock downs' where he clearly isn't hurt at all.
edit:
thought that was a different video, yea he has been hurt a few times, a lot of fighters have.Last edited by Gainzzz; 02-03-2016 at 09:31 AM.

Mate just ignore these people. A lot of people don't understand what having a weak chin entails. The same people call Fury chinny because he was floored by Pajkic and Cunningham. Yet after both knock downs he rose back up immediately totally not dazed and ready to fight - the sign of a solid chin.
Khan was brutally KO'd by Prescott. It happens. The most solid chins in boxing get cracked eventually. The Garcia one was a neck punch which would floor anybody. And again, it was a well timed shot when Khan was off balance.
The Maidana fight was probably the P4P hardest puncher Khan faced and he took the shots like a champ still standing. A lot of Khan haters conveniently ignore this fight when they lambast his chin. It's a deadweight argument, I don't even try to argue against them anymore.Misc Number 1. Boxing Analyst and Pundit

Khan clearly doesn't have a "solid chin" but I agree that people exaggerate the extent to which he has a glass jaw. anybody would have gone down from that wild left hook Garcia clioped him with. However, the iron chins in the sport (froch etc) wouldn't have been dizzy and wobbled 2 minutes later the way Khan was.
I don't get why people hate on Khan for being vulnerable to power punchers. if anything I respect him for it. He is still willing to get in with guys like maidana and canelo, and when he's been hurt badly in the past he's showed nothing but heart, actually too much heart.Muay Thai & Boxing

Garcia's punch that hurt him was one thing...but being wobbled by Algeri multiple times???No excuse for that. Khan's only advantage he had was his speed....at 154lb, I doubt he will be as fast as he was at 147lb. Still shaking my head as to how this fight was allowed to happen.
I do think however, that Khan's soft chin will be of benefit for his health and well being as it will prevent a sustained beating for 12 rounds.
Again, he's got huge stones for taking this fight but it's just a payday. Canelo taking this fight just yanked up his skirt by pretty much saying 'no mas' to GGG....he should be ashamed of himself.
