-Bader is competitive in the first round, gets clipped in the second and finished.
-Josh Barnett dirty boxes Slothwell to a UD.
-Don't know much about either guy but Rivera looks more exciting.
-Sage is crushing more cans than Fedor

Bader/Rumble I think pretty much everyone will agree is either going to end with Rumble getting the KO or Bader grinding him out for five rounds. I think I'd like to see Rumble fight Jones more than Bader fight him so I hope Rumble takes it.

- I think Rumble by round 1 KO, but if Bader tries to manages to survive rounds 1/2 and take the fight down it could get ugly
- Feeling good about Rothwell here, could be a slugfest
- Can't say I have any knowledge of either guy in the 135 bout so that's a blind guess
- Props to Sage for stepping up to 170 just so he could fight, and I see another early stoppage for him here

Bader can't stand with AJ and AJs take down defense is exceptional. If Bader can survive early rounds and get AJ down and into the later rounds he could grind out a win but that is unlikely. The only person to ever take AJ down consitently and keep him there was Cormier.

That's what everyone thought Phil Davis would be able to do, and he got tooled.

I think Bader is a lot stronger and obviously Bader beat Davis, but I'm hoping Johnson learned a lot from his fight with Cormier.

He did. Rashad is still one of the best LHWs, imo. Although he was coming back after a long layoff.

I don't think Bader will be champ but I think he's quite badly underrated.

i dont see ryan grinding rumble to a decision at all. he doesn't have the wrestling caliber of dc to do it. even dc had to work for a takedown and it didn't come easy for him. rumble actually manage to escaped from the bottom when dc took him down a couple of times in round 1. so he isn't helpless on the ground as people make it out to be. also i recall him taking dc down once as well as stuffing a few take downs in the dc fight. in my prediction rumble by either round 1 or round 2 ko.

Based on what evidence? Beating chael and hendo (two 185'ers) two and a half years ago... or the recent loss to Ryan Bader? LOL. Or is he one of the best simply based on how shallow LHW has become (similarly to the only reason bader is now a serious contender)?

Rashad has a lot to prove at this point in his career, but Bader is right up there with the best of the division right now. . I think he and his coaches feel like he's been overlooked, and it seems like you're saying he's getting too much credit. I feel like he's right in the position he's earned, and this is the time to do something big.

Feijao is a good fighter, but past his prime. Phil Davis is a damn good fighter. St Pruex is a good fighter too. If he beats Anthony Johnson, he deserves that title shot.

bader doesnt have to keep getting takedowns to out wrestle him either, which everyone keeps mentioning. i would imagine bader's plan is to grind rumble through the fence until he gasses out and slows down a bit. whether it works or not we will see!

You guys realize Rumble NEVER gets grinded to a decision? He always gets RNC'd before a decision hits.
Rnc losses to clementi, koscheck, vitor, and Cormier. His only other loss is to Kevin burns because he got eye poked lmao.

I don't see Bader RNCing Rumble. Underrated wrestling and firepower. Overrated ground game because he gives up his back trying to stand.
