    Been waiting for this one. Im at an awkward weight right now for the comp tho. i walk around 190lbs. I will probably throw a lift in at my current weight without trying to cut, see how the results come in and cut again if i have to.

    Good for 490@255. mirin the band usage. I used to do the same thing, then realized duct tape was better for the bench and less set up each week. Anyone reading this take note of arn710's pause. It is not overly done or exaggerated. Just enough to show no bounce off the chest and that he had the weight under control.

    GJDM and reppped for being the first one to post an entry and damn near the first one to hit a quarter ton on benchpress lol. I am mirin the fact that you bench more than I can squat.

    Just need to stay healthy, I got two other lifts to worry about as well. Also need a good cameraperson, last comp my Son was taking the video and jumping up and down yelling "get it Dad!!"

    I'm sure I won't win anything in this comp when the strong miscers come out of the woodwork late in the comp - but I'm well on target to break into the PowerliftingWatch top 40 (total) for my class next month.

    A couple of more questions. When you say feet on floor, does the heel have to touch the floor, if i have me heels raised a bit would the lift still count? Assuming someone who is overseas(example: Europe) places first, second or third would you ship there or just in USA?

    More than sufficient. This isnt a sanctioned PL event where you have to wait on a command. I am looking for two things really:

    1. Control of the weight
    B. A pause just long enough to show that you are not bouncing the weight off of your chest
    III. Keep your ass on the bench

    1st Question: My heels are not on the floor for my video, it still counted I only include this rule because it is an actual powerlifting rule. You want flat footed, more power to you. But I think most people bench with heels raised. It is acceptable.

    2nd Question: I am working on a way to ship the prizes overseas. I might be able to ship the prizes myself and just eat the cost if needed. I need to get clearance from ForumSentinel for this part but I am sure he will authorize me to get the personal info of a few overseas winners to ship them stuff. I dont want anyone left out of the prize pool on this one. The only thing that would get me is if there were a lot of overseas winners
    I ship stuff to a buddy in Australia every couple of months(he repays me for the cost) and a medium-ish box of supplements costs 30-45 dollars! But yes I will ship to overseas as long as the winner is comfortable giving me his/her personal address and FS approves it.

    Just post up your lifts early. You'll get some time on the leaderboard. Once some miscer beats you by 10 lbs that will make you angry enough to get 15 more. I could get hit by a helicopter tomorrow, who knows.

    Competition is healthy AF for gains, it makes you do things you are not comfortable doing. When you get in the zone where you are SRSly wondering if you can do it, then do it, then do it again..the results actually happen
