Ayyyyyy DE. Where do you usually go, ohmalandan/target master??
It's not bad, $10 a visit or $50 for a year long pass. 100 yard rifle range, 25 yard pistol. Both are covered where you stand, targets aren't covered (you also have to bring your own) also 2 open spots for shotgun skeet shooting.

Just loaded up some 77 gr Nosler boolits to see how I like them. I need to dial in an accurate load but these should shoot pretty well based off load data.
They chamber in my wylde gun too so that's a nice attribute.

So my LGS has a used 3rd gen Glock 20 (10mm) for $500.00 cash, out the door (taxes included).
I checked it out thoroughly and it looks like it's had MAYBE one mag through it. Really it looks like is has possibly never been shot, but it's in the used counter.
Comes with standard Glock sights and 2 mags.
I've wanted a 10mm for a while but can't really justify it. It would honestly just be a "my pistol is more powerful than yours" gun.
But the price seems really damn good. $500 OTD for what looks like a brand new Glock. Of course I'd have to get a light, better sights, at least 5 more mags, and holster for it so tack on $400 eventually.
Should I just say fuk it and get it?
ETA: Bought 3x 80% lowers today lol. BRB ghost guns.Don't complain about the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do.

I have the LRs. If I drop the rifle, they'll only fold if force is directly applied at the tip of the sight in the direction of the fold.
Will the DD fixed irons fold under that same condition, no. How often are you dropping the rifle such that force is only applied directly rearward on the BUIS? Kind of ridiculous.

Well that's annoying
So the price is good by like what $100 vs what a new Gen3 10mm should go for. Usually figure $550 from a decent LGS for that + sales tax. Consider what continually feeding it ammo will cost. That $100 or whatever on the gun itself is trivial at best to the ownership cost of the pistol (gun, mags, sights, holsters, AMMO...)

good to know; fingered one today at the LGS
reloading bras
how did you secure your press to the table top? lag bolts? just screws?
I'm planning on laying a piece of plywood onto a cheap bistro table we don't use and attaching that with screws then attaching the press through both - good enough? or should I build a real bench?~MFC~

If the table is sturdy that should be fine. At my old apartment I had a tiny little reloading setup and did pretty much the same thing, just laid a piece of plywood across the top to re-enforce it and drilled through both to mount the press. But if your bench is easy to tip over, you'll probably get annoyed pretty quick.
Do I even lift?
