Morning fellas.
The chassis is a KRG Xray. I haven't had a chance to carry it anywhere yet (I don't hunt), but I will be shooting in a match this next Saturday. I'll get to see the pros/cons of the setup during all of the off-hand shooting stages.
The chassis itself is pretty light. Aluminum backbone and polymer.Misc Firearms Crew

Hai guise.
Hoe, the SPS stock is garbage, you're gonna want to throw it away. Even the SPS Tactical (this is the one i started by trading a guy my AR for a custom 1911, then the 1911 for the SPS) I have has a POS hogue rubberised stock and i've only kept it like that because I already had the PSS. sp3cial's right about the PSS because it's not exactly "stock"/OEM basic rofl (which was the reason I got it). At the time, I think Remington had a kit that was super expensive called the Designated Marksman and it was basically the same setup I made, but twice the price. The stock is polymer/Kevlar® with aluminum bedding pillars, extra sling mount point up front for a bipod, truly free-floated, with a pretty vertical grip. About the only shortfalls are the non-adjustable comb and the non-mag bottom metal. I'll get some pictures,
Here's a comparo.
Jarryd, I also found this, you still want it? The leg telescopes out an additional two inches.

Dis real life??
You gonna died.
Glad you posted this though. I haven't done close grip reverse with an incline in a long time. I'll just skip on the crushing my face and brain portion.
I might try the California with a regular grip too. I've never heard them called that, but it looks like it could be some fun and a good way to overload on the lowering of the weight without blowing out my elbows trying to press it in that compromised position out of the bottom.*MFC*

Good start to the morning, made some coffee, got on Gander Mountain website and ordered a Beretta M9. Looking forward to shooting it and seeing how it compares to my G17.

this will be the first book I read by Halbrook, been looking forward to it for a bit. I order all my books through abebooks.com....quality ranges from new to destroyed in a library over 30 years, but most books are less than $5 including shipping. somehow this book took 4 weeks to get to me. sounds like it'll be worth the wait.

My next bolt gun will be a .308 savage 10t with a threaded barrel. Replace the stock and add some glass and I'll be done with it. Just need to decide if I want to build an ar10 first.
