lets be honest, almost none of us believed foles would not only win us a superbowl, but be one of the main reasons. Incredible year and damn do I love Nick Foles again. Forever a Philly legend
Wentz is the alpha dog QB, but if Foles is somehow still here next season, I'd feel very comfortable going into the playoffsPositive vibes crew

- only pending free agent is Blount who we should def snag back (where Sproles fits with Clements' growth is tricky)
- the players we got coming off IR would be considered a hell of a free agency haul
- no coaches lost to bigger gigs
I'm trying not to be biased but I can't think of a team that has such a strong chance to repeat
edit:
would love to get this shipped to montreal some how ffs lolLast edited by Psyren; 02-07-2018 at 08:27 PM.

The only thing I was skeptical about Foles was the fact he hadn't played much in a few years. He would have been rusty and fidgety but he calmed down quickly. Also, Pederson needed to come up with a scheme that would benefit with Foles skillset. They obviously did their homework and made adjustments.

Epic parade today, wish i could have been there. Kelce was going hard dropping F-bombs on live TV. No fuks
Also, our season began on the steps of the art museum when we drafted Barnett. Not to mention Pearson trolling us and flashing his SB ring. It was so fitting for our season to end right there with the Lombardi. Seriously, if Hollywood made a script about this season I'd call it corny★☆★ Full-Time Philadelphia Eagles Fan ★☆★

I'm really excited about this team's future, we have all the crucial pieces.
Franchise QB. check (two actually although we're keeping the better one in wentz)
Top 3 O-line. check (peters should come back, vatai isnt the future yet although he played great filling in for peters most of the time)
Top 3 D-line. check (notice how howie's main priority is to lock up the the most important pieces in both lines, i.e interior tackles like cox and jernigan, great DEs like graham)
In terms of non-crucial pieces:
Rest of the defense is not as good as our front 4, and we can't rely on guys like hicks although talented to stay healthy. I'd rather keep Bradham as long as he's not too expensive.
On offense, our WR and TE unit was great this year except for our #2 WR in Smith. Alshon is locked up, we'll re-sign Ertz. Everyone else is expandable. We need to eventually pay Wentz, and our o-linemen, as long as we dominate the trenches and have a franchise QB, we'll contend, nothing else matters.

You really hope Hicks can come back. He has the caliber to be Pro Bowl level LB and he's only 25. Downside are the two big injuries. I would love to take a LB with our 1st pick. I feel good with the Corners and Sidney Jones ready for his 1st year, hopefully that pick ends up being another Howie genius move.
On offense, really nothing I'd change, even with Torrey a Smith. Let's Hollins develop. Retain Blount. Let's Barner/Sproles/Clement go in that order.Dr. Mantis Toboggan

hicks is a stud, cant stay healthy. If we can re-sign him for cheap, you do it. Just don't want a cowboys sean lee situation where every year you can't rely on the guy to stay healthy.
Blount should be cheap to retain, great value for 1.3 mil. Ajayi will look to get paid, you have to let him go once his contract is up. He's a good back, but behind our o-line anyone can get yardsPositive vibes crew

Frank Reich just agreed to be the new HC of the Colts. Now I hate McDaniels, piece of shiit
For the unaware. DeFilippo, Reich and Pederson are 3 QB gurus who helped Wentz develop into what we saw in 2017. Now we lost 2/3 in less than a week. It sucks. I hope we can find good replacements★☆★ Full-Time Philadelphia Eagles Fan ★☆★

It's officially been a week. I still wake up every morning in disbelief that the Birds actually got it done. It is going to take some time for me to adjust to actually being a fan of a Superbowl winning team. It really is funny walking around campus and smirking at all the Cowboys fans (idk why they're wearing team gear rn). None of my Dallas friends can say sh*t anymore and they all know it.
If you had told me two years ago when Doug had just been hired when we were poised to take a DI AAA player at the #2 pick, that the Eagles would win the Superbowl after just two years... I would have laughed at you. Get ready for a long window of success boys.▩▩▩▩▩ Official Architect of the Misc ▩▩▩▩▩▩

I'm a little worried about losing Defilippo and Reich. Reich really flew under the radar here. Obviously, Jim Schwartz had the defense and it was always assumed Doug was the OC. Last year it was kind of joked about on the radio and within my friends of what Frank Reich actually did. Comes to find out over the past few weeks that Reich is really the guy that put the offensive game plan together week to week and installs plays that he thinks will work. Then Doug was ultimately the one calling the plays in the games.
Ray Didinger (look for his work if your unfamiliar) said on Sunday that he believe Wentz was/is at a point where he pretty much soaked in everything Defilippo was teaching and should be fine moving forward without him, which was nice to hear.
But who really cares because were Super Bowl 52 champions b*tchs.
