Came out of a throat surgery ~3 weeks ago.

Just got out of surgery and getting a lot of texts, emails, and phone calls. Being I got my tonsils, uvula, and part of my soft pallet removed, it's extremely hard to talk or even swallow. I should be back to normal within a week. They're keeping me overnight which sucks but nothing I can do. Things I'm looking to see:

1. Josh Lenartowicz vs real competition
2. Cedric McMillan to deliver the goods
3. Evan Centopani to prove that he's still top level pro material. At his last two showings he managed 5th. If he can't at least duplicate this placing (at a show with no Dexter Jackson, no Dennis Wolf, and no Shawn Rhoden), I don't think I'll take him seriously anymore.
4. Juan Morel to get another unfairly high placing
5. David Henry to get back up in the top
6. At least 2-3 new muscle tears on Branch Warren
7. JOJ in the top 8
8. Compton in 2nd place

Definitely want to see how the kid Josh stacks up against the top pros.

How will Kai look? Mainly, has he managed to keep his size, while reducing the gut and nailing his conditioning?

Compton's gut? Does he manage to put on even more size since we last saw him?

Ced? Will there be regression at this point? What will his conditioning be like?

Centopani's fullness....will be finally come in full and not be flat on show day.

Does Morel come in looking even bigger? Didn't like the guy much a few years back, but he is slowly putting on some serious muscle.

Would LOVE to see David Henry get back to his best self. I feel like since he retired from his Army job, he has slipped. Maybe he will finally find the right combo of everything.

Branch...Well like you said Bart...at this point onward it is muscle tear watch 101 when it comes to him? How many others will be screwed out of a deserved placing due to his "graininess and density", while his body looks like it has started to melt at this point.

I am also interested to see how Cody Montgomery looks on a Pro stage with these guys. Will be a nice check for him, though I don't think he is realistically expecting to do very well.

And not to be the forums designated bitch-er, but it is so close to the Arnold and we have had NO COVERAGE since the Olympia.

I understand the whole "don't want to show what I have" logic before the show (though I have broken it apart many times as total BS), but why are we not getting any updates right after the show.

And when we do get them, they are more wrapped up than King Tut. Is there a rule where every bodybuilder has to work out with 2 shirts and 4 hoodies on?

Cedric could take 2nd but we have no idea how hes doing or looking right now. I know Branch and Juan will be up there in placings like last year. I don't have high hopes for Evan because he disappoints time and time again. I think Tony has regressed far enough to the point where Cody could place over him and potentially as high as 8/9th depending on whose off. Still a stacked show and should be exciting to watch

- Curious if Kia comes in off giving Compton or others a shot at the #1 spot.
- How does Compton look after a full year off.
- Who gets screwed out of placings this year thanks to the judges loving Branch?
- Expecting Cedric to look solid but I see somebody like Evan or Juan finishing ahead of him.
- Wasn't a big Juan fan two years ago but he has made some really nice changes. Conditioned and full, he is pretty dangerous.
- Excited to see how Cody looks. Don't expect high placings no matter how good he might look(pay your dues)
- 212 sadly doesn't look very strong. Unless Jose comes in off, I don't see anyone taking it from him.

It is ridiculous. But I think it also in BIG part has to do with the lack of coverage and news to talk about. I mean NOTHING is going on. Evan slapping a random guy in the gym has been the biggest news for weeks now. No new videos since the Olympia. We are into the new year now and STILL nothing.

The fact that in this age of social media and cell phones which take good quality videos, we cannot get any updates, is just ridiculous. Shows you just how much sense these guys have. There is a reason DLB has longer lines than any pro when she goes anywhere.

When these guys are sponsored by companies like this, they are at their mercy. I'd love to see more guys going "rogue" and handling their own marketing, but when that happens you don't seem to play as high in competitions

That could be it. But there is not reason a pro couldn't offer some content to the fans, unless the contracts stipulated that they cannot. And if they have that in their contracts with their sponsors, why aren't the sponsors coming up with awesome content. It is SO CHEAP to produce something that people will be happy with.

I always use DLB as a great example of what is possible. She is the only one who realized that it is not only your physique that speaks for you, but your personality and how you interact with the fans. She has built a brand around her. Not everyone will do that, but just being out there and providing free content will pay financial dividends for sure.
