Heaths legs are a weakness when you compare him to Wolf, Ramy and kai. Dexter's legs are not good either, his calves are weak.

If he loses to branch again, i think he should repeat last years's offseason since he's still young. If he beats branch, i think he should do the O. Top 6 in his first O while 27 years old(his fb says he was born 1988) would be great

Man an olympia lineup with:
Phil
Kai
Rhoden with an unrealistically improved back
Conditioned ramy
Improved compton

Would be the best top lineup of this decade

Phil has great legs, his quads are a little undersized from the front and he doesn't pose them well which makes it look worse than it is. They're insane from the side.




Dex's quads are relatively small and he has little calf development, but I'd hardly say these aren't good legs.

The more I read this the better I feel about my own state of mind.

From top to bottom Phil had the best legs in this line-up. Dennis' in the side chest and triceps are winning but that's it.

Pretty close with Rhoden's. Phil's have a bit more detail in the quads and calves. I don't like how Phil flares them out.

This. there's a difference between weak legs, and weaker by 5% legs. Evan Centopani has weak legs. Phil has arguably weaker legs in some poses than others

I think some of you guys are mentally stuck 6-7 years in the past (or are looking at old pictures, which amounts to the same thing). There was a time when Phil had kinda weak legs next to the top pros.

That time is not 2016. In certain poses, Phil's legs now rival Kai Greene's.

Everyone knows i dont like much Phil, mainly because his attitude and the judge favor him. But Phil have good legs. Its not only about size, but shape, condtitioning and so on. To me last year he was downsized and was not so full and big like before, but atleast he has no gut.
Still there is guys that beat him on the legs. Last year Rhoden come with insane and the best leg on stage and beat him in that group for sure. Kai, Wolf and Rhoden so far have better legs. But a lot of guy beat Phil in seperate body parts, its about complete package.
Ramy also have bigger legs, but he need the conditioning. In my mind he should start dieting for being ripped early. He have enough mass. I dont mind to still gain and for sure he will do it, but he need to come in condition to win it. Only mass wont win him the Olympia.
And for Rhoden if he was 4-5 years younger, he probably have a good chance to win it, but now i dont think so. He will make 41 in april ....

His legs aren't bad by any standards, they're just odd looking because of the disproportion of the lack of quad sweep combined with the oversized gracilis/adductors and his awkward posing to accentuate that where his legs are 3 feet apart

As for a "real Olympia like Compton" coming up....sure, maybe someday...but last I checked, Dexter mopped the floor with him at the Arnold classic. So it's not like Compton would blow Dex out of the water, at least not with what we've seen from him. It's possible he could do so in the future, but it's not like it's a forgone conclusion.

Nice job picking only one pose when mutliple pics were posted above of Phil's legs holding their own against Shawn and Wolf. As was already stated, his thighs lose out from the front but a bit, but win from the side and back. Kai does have better legs than Phil though, when he's in shape. Otherwise it's just outer quad feathers but lacking overall detail. Also, Phil's sweep is rounder(not really anything Kai can do about that since it's genetic).

Detail wins shows in the rear thats why phil has a sick back double bicep..

Phils legs look good in side and rear not the front..
It's like comparing shawns glutes to phils... phil clearly has a better glute ham tie in... same goes with the front.. dennis kai and shawn have better quads.. all three have size and detail over phil in the abs / thigh

All have striated quads too

But yeah i do like Phils ham hang and glute from the side

Cody's waist is looking sloppy. Shame because he had a tight, streamlined waist and crazy conditioning in the majority of his previous shows.

I don't see him cracking the top 10 personally.
