yeah. u mad.

but srs, you're of course correct. It's just that I go to an Abs class 2x a week, mostly for functional core strength, it's a convenient time, and because the instructor is hnnnnnnng. It is the most popular of many fitness classes in my community. It is hard. I just feel bad for people that get discouraged when they come to class and put in the work, but they will never see any trace of the abs they are hoping for until they fix their diet and bf%.

Dont be concerned about doing to much ab isolation and getting to blocky. Thats like people that have never worked out saying "I dont want to get to big" It would literally take YEARS of heavy weighted ab exercises to make your core to big. Adding 1-2cm of lean mass to tighten up your core will not doing anything but good.

this for sure. The abdominals are a HUGE muscle. IF you do weighted ab exercises, just like any other muscle group, they will grow.
