LOL...Im not expecting Div 1/NBA from him. But he loves to play and wants to get better (camps/clinics and etc)... Im giving him every opportunity as long as my wallet can afford it :P. Our local community college is pretty good and admission is free...a chance for him to watch and learn for free.

Have him start doing the dot drill (this isn't just for basketball, I still believe it's one of the best agility drills you can do), make him use his non-dominant hand for X amount of time for some type of dribbling obstacle course, and get him the coolest shoes (cause duh).

Our school had a Jump Trainer as well. Essentially a plat form with sensors and you could adjust height (up to like 44" or something). Just had to jump up and down as fast as you could. Kicked your ass.
Back in my day it was all about Iverson's, T-Mac's, and unfortunately people bought those AWFUL Dada's with spinners in them that spun when your heel landed.
I lied though, I had T-Mac 1's, 2's, and still have my 6's

I have to hit TMac up on recharge. Love me some Taco Bell.
And yes, I agree, some are much better than other's. Like TMac said, the privately owned one's are usually the best. They know that it's their necks on the line so they run a tighter ship. I had Taco Bell last week, wings last night, SuperBowl coming up Sunday ... my belt hates me.

I dont understand anyone paying $179 for shoes in 2016, let alone in 1991
I got no strings to hold me down
To make me fret or make me frown
I had strings, but now I'm free
I got no strings on me

I must be the slag of forums. I still buy the $9-15 tennis shoes at Walmart. They last me a year or two.

My 5'6 10 year old loves his Reebok Pumps. Pumps them up before the jump ball and when he shoots free throws. Srs.
