AntM Reviews Millenium Sports Technology Cordygen Nano2

Sorry the picture is so dark.

Taste - The flavor was berry pomegranate. It was a very light taste, almost tasteless. However, the after taste had a berry flavor. Nothing too strong or intense, but there isn't much flavoring in the product when you look at the actives and how much a serving size is.

    Price - About $30 for 20 servings.

Profile -So if you look at the product, you may say to yourself, what the heck is this. Cordygen Nano2 is supposed to increase oxygen utilization, vo2 max and ATP which in turn increase endurance. I wanted to use this product today because I was training fasted, it was a heavy push day and yesterday was a low carb day for me.

Overall - The taste was pretty good. I cannot comment too much on the price because I have not used similar products. Also, I cannot give this product a numeric rating because I believe it is something one would need to use several times to see the real benefits and also to see if the results were due to placebo. For me, I was low carb this morning and trained fasted. I felt as though my strength and endurance were on par with what it usually is on this day with a carb filled pre workout meal. Could it be placebo, yes. This is where I would need to use it more often, especially in a fasted state. With that said, I do think it is worth the purchase for two types of people. Those that do endurance training or even train for a long period of time (such as boxing or MMA) or those that train fasted due to the fast acting carbs. I know that sometimes when I train fasted, I perform better, but in a shorter bout. If I try to train for the same amount of time, I cannot. Also, rest periods seemed to be improved compared to other fasted workouts. With that in mind, it is worth a shot depending on how you train or when you train.

Nice compilation of reviews and on certain products that I've tried that you reviewed I was also
in the same rating ball park as your review on it. I've been wanting to try a sample of that Stimaholic
that you reviewed to see just how good the focus and energy is before I pick up a container cause it
does get feedback on energy and focus but you said that it just seemed pretty basic to you on the
energy and focus so now I really want to try it before I buy it. Lol.

    AntM Reviews EVL ENGN

    Profile

Pretty solid profile. Underdosed at 1 scoop with some ingredients, but nothing one cannot add with bulk ingredients. I am also not a fan of prop blends, but one can get a sense of how the prop blend is dosed.

    Taste

This was green apple. It tasted just like a granny smith apple. It had the perfect tartness and sweetness to it. Very enjoyable.

    Focus/Energy

Today was a quick training session. I was able to keep my focus and my energy was clean, not overhyper, and I did not experience any sort of crash after my training session.

    Pump

I did not notice anything spectacular. My pump was a little more noticeable than normal, but nothing mind blowing. However, I was not expecting anything out of this world in terms of pump. The profile seems like it is more geared towards focus/energy than pump which is fine by me. I do not need a supp for a pump. I train for contractions and have a good mind muscle connection.

    Final Thoughts

All in all, I would recommend ENGN to anyone looking for a solid pre workout supplement that gives good energy and focus. However, I would tell the person they will need more BA, creatine, and betaine if they only take one scoop. If one is looking for an all in one profile in which they do not need to add anything to the single scoop, then I would advise to look elsewhere. I would not expect crazy pumps, but something more than the norm. The fruit punch is delicious. Overall: 8/10

AntM Reviews USP Labs Modern BCAA+

Taste - The flavor was pink lemonade. I do not like straight lemonade flavors. When it is mixed with something, it is hit or miss depending on how sweet it is. I enjoyed the flavor. It was not too sweet. It did have a little bite at the end, but nothing drastic. However, this was a half serving, so it may e a little on the sweeter side for a full scoop.

Price - About $23 for 30 servings. Not a bad value considering a full serving gives one 15 grams of aminos compared to the typical 5-7 grams.

Profile - 15 grams of BCAA with an 8:1:1 ratio. the ratio is debatable, but the amount of aminos per serving is great. There is also a nice electrolyte blend.

Overall - If I had a full scoop to properly rate the taste, then I would give this a perfect score. I think it may be a touch too sweet at a full scoop for my liking, but I cannot say for sure. Other than that, zero complaints.9/10

    AntM Reviews Cellucor C4 Extreme

    Mixability - Perfect

Profile - Creatine Nitrate and Beta Alanine are dosed well, at two scoops which I used. Not overly stimulated either at one or two scoops. One scoop provides 135 mg of caffeine which is nice for someone looking for an average stim option. Someone like me with a naturally high tolerance needs two scoops, but the affects of two scoops are there.

Energy - Pretty good. At two scoops, I did not feel over stimulated and did feel like I had some extra energy. I cannot assess this on if I was not coming off a stim break. I can only assume it would not have affected me too much if I have been using stims. However, using it when I did, I had a nice flow of energy that carried me through my training sessions with no crash afterwards. It was clean with no jitters too.

Focus - Focus was pretty good. Nothing laser like, but I was focused throughout my entire workout. Once again, as I used it was good, but I don't know how this aspect would have been if I have been using stims. 9/10

Taste - The blue raspberry flavor in 8 ounces of water was a disappointment given the experience I have had with other C4 flavors and Cellucor products. It was very artificial and chemical tasting.

Overall - If you are looking for a pre workout that isn't stim heavy, I would definitely check Cellucor C4 out. It is worth the purchase and trying. This flavor is not great, but the few other flavors I have tried were good. If you are looking for a little extra kick in the gym with some extra focus, go with this. It is a solid formula that provides solid effects. Cellucor makes awesome products so you know you're getting something solid and not trash. 8/10

    Mixability - Perfect.

Profile - First, I need to give AEN credit for not having a prop blend. A lot of times when a product contains the kitchen sink, the ingredients are hidden by a prop blend. AEN fully discloses the amount of each and every ingredient. 300mg of caffeine and 50mg of a sustained release caffeine help provide energy through the training session. The caffeine is accompanied by a full dose of creatine and 6 grams of waxy mazie which helps with muscle fullness and to help combat fatigue during the training session.

Energy - I used this on a day which I spent a lot of time in the gym. It was my heavy back day which normally takes a while due to my warmups taking a decent amount of time and the amount of working sets on deadlifts I do. I had enough energy throughout the entire training session, especially in the beginning.

Pumps - Pretty good for a heavy back day. I attribute some of this to the 6 grams of waxy maize. I train about 3 hours after my pre workout meal on deadlift days. Muscle fullness and pumps were there despite not having any substantial amount of carbs pre workout.

Taste - This was strawberry margarita. it was not a straight strawberry flavor. It had a hint of strawberry which I really enjoyed. It was a tad sweet for my liking, but overall very good. It was a little thicker which may be due to the waxy maize, this s something that I think changed the taste.

Overall - I would suggest this product for those that either train fasted and/or need something high stim. I would suggest it in a fasted state due to the 6 grams of waxy maze. This will definitely help those in a fasted state with pumps, fullness and endurance. For those that need a high stim, it is self explanatory; there is 350mg of caffeine. I enjoyed this flavor, not my favorite, but still pretty enjoyable. I love that this is not a prop blend. The ingredients are well dosed as well.10/10

    First off, great thread!

Secondly, I went through two tubs of Steel Edge, one of each flavor. I strongly suggest the fruit punch flavor over Strawberry Margarita. I'm not a huge fruit punch fan, but it was significantly better in my opinion.

    Keep up the good work!

    AntM Reviews API Hustle

    .

    Mixability - Prefect

Profile - First off, if you have read my reviews, you know I hate prop blends. There are two blends in this product, a pump/energy blend and a focus blend. You can decipher what is in the pump/focus blend. It is 3905mg. The label, just look at my picture, shows 1.6g of BA, 1g of Nitrosigine and Cirtulline. That leaves 305mg left in that blend and two ingredients are left; bioperine and caffeine. I would assume the caffeine is set at 300mg and the bioperine is 5mg. With that in mind, the ingredients are under dosed. Two scoops would be needed, however, that would yield 600mg of caffeine which I would not advise. I do like that there is no added creatine.

Energy/Focus - Energy was clean and and not over bearing. 300mg is a nice spot for me. I had enough to get through my workout without making me too amped. The focus was also pretty good.

Pumps - Pump was really good, but I did a ton od drop sets and rest pause sets to get some extra volume in.

Taste - This was the raspberry lemonade flavor. I liked that is was not an overwhelming lemonade flavor, but I wished for more raspberry. It was a little too artificial tasting for me as well. Not bad, but not the best either.

Overall - If you're looking for what I would consider a moderate stim pre workout, this is for you. It may be considered on the higher end to some with 300mg of caffeine. The product is underdosed in every aspect and it would be difficult to take two scoops since the caffeine would be extremely high. The energy and focus are good, but the taste could be better. I would say it is your average pre workout. Nothing makes it stand out, but it is not bad either.7/10

AntM Reviews BPI Iso HD Cookies and Cream

Taste - I'm not a big cookies and cream fan. This flavor was more of a cream/vanilla flavor with minimal cookie or chocolate flavor. One may like it, but like I said, I do not enjoy cookies and cream. Take my taste thoughts with a grain of salt.

Profile - Very good. One scoop is 33g and provides 130 cals, 25g of protein, 3 grams of carbs and 1 gram of fat. It also does not contain any taurine/glycine. Anyone can fit this powder into their daily diet.

Mixability - Perfect. I do not drink shakes. I bake with protein or in this case, for a test/review, combine the powder with non fat plain Greek yogurt and make a pudding. The mixability this way was perfect. Not clumps when just mixing it with a spoon and the powder did not stick to the sides of the bowl.

Overall - I would highly suggest this product to anyone looking for an isolate powder. Are isolate powders necessary, not really, however, if one is lactose intolerant, I would definitely give this a shot. I'm not going to give it a numeric rating since I am not a fan of the flavor, but if you like cookies and cream, you may want to give it a go.

    AntM Reviews ProSupps Mr. Hyde

    .

    Mixability - Prefect

Profile - I really like the profile overall, from a stim standpoint. It has 419mg of caffeine, in several forms and even a focus blend with hordenine, which I seem to respond well to. Just note, it does contain both Yohimbine and Alpha-Y, so if you do not respond well to any Yohimbine, stay away. Yohimbine does not bother me unless I train on an empty stomach. I took Hyde about 2.5 hours after a meal and did not feel any of the negative side effects I normally would.

Energy/Focus - For me, this is one ladder rung under perfect. Energy was great, if it had a touch more caffeine, it would have been perfect for me. Focus was perfect though.

Pumps - Do not expect anything in this department from Hyde. I would assume one is supposed to stack this with Jekyll if you want both pumps and energy/focus. The creatine nitrate helps some, but not a lot.

Taste - This was the blue raspberry flavor. It was not too sweet, which can be a problem with this flavor. It was light and refreshing.

Overall - If you're looking for a good high stim product, Hyde is worth a shot. However, if you do not respond well to Yohimbine or Alpha-Y, I would look elsewhere. The energy was just under a touch of what I would consider perfect. Focus was perfect in my opinion. Taste was on point. The only "problem" is that it is not pump based at all. The creatine nitrate does help, but does not create anything spectacular. One would argue that is why you stack it with Jekyll, but it would be nice to have an all in one product. I would suggest this for the stim junkie though.9/10

AntM Reviews Pro Supps PS Whey

Taste - This was glazed donut. It honestly did not taste like a glazed donut. However, it was very good. I would say it was more of a cake batter type flavor. I am curious to see if it takes on more of a glazed donut flavor when heated, either baked or in oatmeal. I wish it was a touch sweeter. Pretty good overall.

Profile - Very good. 130 cals, 2.5 fat, 3 carb and 24 protein per scoop.

    Mixability - N/A

Overall - I would suggest this protein for someone looking for a cake batter type of flavor. The macros are good and so is the taste. The price is a little on the higher end, but it is a whey blend with whey isolate, so that is why the price is a little higher than normal. 8/10

AntM Reviews Question Nutrition Protein Powder

Taste - The flavor was strawberries and cream. Strawberry seems like the hardest of the common flavors to get correct. Usually the flavor is very artificial tasting. This was very natural and did not taste artificial at all. It was a little on the lighter side, but I did use a little more yogurt than I normally do. That could have weakened the flavor.

Profile - 100 cals, 0 fat, 3 carb and 21 protein per scoop. This is a blend of whey protein, casein and milk protein.

    Mixability - N/A

Overall - Although the taste is on point and the profile is on point, I would not suggest buying this powder. I prefer blends and everything about this powder is great, except for the price. You are looking at around $20 per pound versus $10 per pound that most powders go for. Blends are usually a little more expensive, but not that much more.6/10

    AntM Reviews Premier Protein Bar/

    Profile - 280 cals, 7g of fat, 26g of carbs (10g sugar), 30g protein

These are not like your typical Quest Bars or anything else that is similar. Not as much fiber, but there is more protein per bar. The protein blend has soy protein as the first protein source. That does not bother me. I don't think consuming a little soy once in a while is a bad thing. That may turn some people away.

Price - Just over $1 a bar, not bad. I got this for $.25 at my local grocery store.

Texture/consistency - I little hard, but not has hard as a Quest Bar. A little crunch, wish it was more though. I touch dry as you can see from the pictures.

Taste - This was chocolate peanut butter. It was about 70/30 chocolate to peanut butter ratio. Not being a big fan of chocolate, I was not fond of this, but the pb was there.

Overall - Not bad if you're on the go and find this in the store. Macros are not bad. Taste is not bad either, just not my cup of tea since the chocolate is the dominant flavor. Priced well and a good amount of protein.7/10

AntM Reviews Quest Nutrition Protein Bar

Profile - This is the old formula. I forget what the macros are on it, I can only find the newer one. I think they are the same, but the version I have has more fiber.

Price - Just under $2 per bar, your average price.

Texture/consistency - Soft, but I was sitting on it for a while to soften it up before eating it.

Taste - This was the mint chocolate. I have had almost an entire box of this flavor, but finally decided to write a review. The taste is either very minty or very chocolately. It all depends on how many mint mix ins your bar has. This particular bar was more chocolate, as you can see from the picture.

Overall - You average Quest Bar. Macro friendly and it tastes good. This particular bar was more chocolate than mint, but the flavor depends on how many mix ins there are in the bar. The 8 rating is for this bar, more chocolate than mint and the 9 rating is for the mint dominant bars, which I have gotten in the same box as this bar.8-9/10

    AntM Reviews Grenade Carb Killa

    Profile - 210 cals, 8g fat, 20g carbs (7g fiber, 1g sugar, 11g sugar alcohol), 23g protein

These are in somewhere in between the macros of a lot of the main stream protein bars out there now. By that I mean macros are similar, but these re somewhere in the middle in terms of the fiber amount. The only thing that may bother some people is the amount of sugar alcohol. Personally, that does not bother me, but I know some do get bloating or GI distress from sugar alcohols.

Price - Just under $2.50 a bar. A touch more than a lot of the bars out there, but it is different than a lot of the bars out there, see below.

Texture/consistency - The higher count calorie bars seem to have a great consistency and texture. They are not monotone and usually have different layers to them. On the other hand, lower calorie options are usually just a bland, chewy texture. I would consider these bars low calorie options. However, they have the texture that higher calorie bars have. As you can see from the picture, there are bumps on the top of the bar. These provided a nice crunch. There also seemed to be a wafer layer and a caramel layer as too. The caramel layer provided a little chew, just like a caramel candy bar. I would say the texture was very close to a Twix bar, just a touch more chewy.

Taste - Caramel Chaos was the flavor. It was a beautiful blend of chocolate and caramel. The caramel stood out more than the chocolate which is fine by me since I'm not a big chocolate guy. It was very similar to a Twix bar in taste also.

Overall - For me, this is a perfect bar. It is very macro friendly, provides some fiber and a good amount of protein. The texture is amazing, it is just like a candy bar and it tastes like a candy bar as well. Yes, the price is a tad higher than similar options, but I would personally spend a little more to get that has some texture to it. For example, if I had the choice between this bar and another bar that tasted the exact same, but had the texture of a Quest Bar or Mission 1 bar, I would pay a little more for the Carb Killa Bar. It is much more enjoyable to eat and tastes fantastic.10/10

AntM Reviews Champion Nutrition Amino Shooter Edge

    .

Mixability - It was not perfect, but that is to be expected. In terms of clumps, there were none. This product contains amino acids and is leucine heavy. The particles will not dissolve right away, but it is by no means any worse than any BCAA product.

Profile - 10g of amino acids and a energy blend make up the profile. Caffeine content and other ingredients in the energy blend are hidden under a prop blend. The BCAA content is disclosed, but the EAA blend is not.

Energy/Focus - Energy was average or slightly below average from what I normally get out of a pre workout. I honestly did not feel like I had anything. I used a single scoop. I have a hard time imagining caffeine is anything higher than 150mg. Focus was the same, below average to average.

Pumps - Did not experience anything out of the ordinary, but the only thing that would attribute to an increased pump is arginine which is not saying a whole lot.

Taste - The flavor is labeled as citrus crush. I was thinking it would taste like a bunch of citrus fruits meshed into one. However, it had a lemon flavor, similar to the yellow lollipop you get at a doctors office or bank. Was it bad, no, but the name is misleading.

Overall - I would not recommend this product. I did not feel like it added anything to my training as far as energy, focus, intensity or pump is concerned. I do like the 10g of amino acids if I am training fasted or semi fasted. It does taste good, but do not expect anything exotic for the citrus crush, it is simple a lemon flavor. Honestly, I am disappointed in this given the quality of Champion Whey. The profile is sub par. I would be cheaper and probably better quality to make your own version of this product. One could simply need amino acids and a caffeine pill or powder. I view this product as a glorified amino product and nothing more.5/10

    AntM Reviews Grenade Hydra 6

This is a final review and my overall thoughts of the product.

Taste - I absolutely love strawberry and was excited to use this. i was surprised with how natural this powder tasted. It was not overly sweet like a strawberry dessert or strawberry milk. Instead, it was like the actual fruit, just not as sweet. With that in mind, the flavor is very mild in your traditional amount of liquid or food. I used it how I use other powders and found the overall flavor to be underwhelming. I do not have protein powder everyday and when I do, I limit myself to a single scoop. Maybe the flavor is stronger with two scoops, but I cannot say. The flavor is very good, just a little weak.

Profile - Very good. One scoop provides 3g fat, 5g of carbs and 24g of protein per serving. What really sets this apart from other powders is that it is a blend, but not only that, Grenade discloses the ratio of the blend. It is 50/50 whey and casein.

Mixability - Perfect. There was a little gritiness in some instances, but nothing major and this does happen with some blends.

Overall - I would highly suggest this product to anyone looking for a blend. The overall taste is very good, especially if you are looking for an authentic/non artificial tasting strawberry powder. The flavor is good, just a little on the weak side. All in all, you cannot go wrong with this product, especially if you're looking for a strawberry flavored protein. 9/10

AntM Reviews Labrada Lean Pro Whey

Taste - This was the vanilla ice cream flavor. The taste was pretty neutral in terms of sweetness. It had a touch of sweetness to it, but nothing jaw dropping. I would say the flavor is average. Nothing stands out to make you say I need to have this again, but nothing says this is bad either.

Profile - Very good. 120 cals, 1g fat, 4g carb and 24 protein per scoop.

Mixability - Mixes perfect. Very thin though. Leads me to believe there is mostly isolate in there.

Overall - This powder is a little expensive, but that is because the primary protein source is isolate. By the consistency, I would say that it is very isolate heavy, which some may like. To me, it makes no difference. With that in mind, if one is looking for an isolate or something that is mostly isolate, I would go with this. However, keep in mind, the flavor is pretty average. Nothing that will stand out.7/10

    AntM Reviews HIT Supplements BUILT

First, I want to say thank you to skinny2buff6 and the rest of the HIT team for allowing me to have this opportunity. This is not my first go around with HIT, but that does not influence my review. I have had a positive experience with their supplements in the past.

    .

Mixability - Perfect as you can see.

Profile - This is not for the faint of heart. 300mg of caffeine, 15mg of NMT (to help with focus) and 10mg yohimbine hcl. Those ingredients, along with others, contribute to the energy/focus aspect of BUILT. Some of the other ingredients are 250mg agmatine, and 3g of CM. No creatine and a fully open label.

Energy/Focus - Perfect for me. I had a heavy pull session today and went fasted. I hit a little more, number wise, on my deadlift and my energy was great despite training fasted and it being a heavy day. Focus was also great.

    Pumps - Nothing extra here.

Taste - The flavor was green apple. I have had some other green apple flavored supplements before and they are usually just a tad too sweet or tart. BUILT had the perfect blend of sweetness and tartness in 8 oz of water. I would not change a thing.

Overall - I would recommend this product for those looking for a stim heavy product. Do not expect the get an extra pump or at least anything mind blowing. The ingredients that would aid in that would need to be doubled, but then that would put caffeine at a dose I would not recommend. I am stim tolerant and a single scoop was perfect for me. I love that the label is open and that there is no added creatine. The taste is perfect also. The only thing I would add is more agmatine or take that and the arginine out and add 2g of glycerol. Either one of those would make the product perfect.9/10

    AntM Reviews Neon Sports Kinetic

Taste - The flavor was Lemon Berry. It had a pretty strong lemon flavor, but as soon as I was getting ready to get smacked with the extra sweetness a lemon has, that was cut by a different flavor. It was not bad, but I wouldn't say it was a berry flavor.

Profile - 6.5 grams of amino acids total. 4g come from silk amino acids and 2.5 grams come from BCAA. I cannot tell if the SAA improve my recovery or do anything that a normal amino product would do since this was just a sample. I do like the inclusion of LCLT too, but the dose is way too low.

Overall - Seems like a good product is is competitively priced. I would give it a shot. The flavor was not my favorite thing. Not that it is bad, just not my cup of tea. 8/10

AntM Reviews AI Sports 100% Whey Protein

Taste - This was the cinnamon bun flavor. As a fat kid, I loved nothing more than going to Cinnabun at the mall every time I went. Nothing was better than those warm, fatty and gooey cinnamon rolls.

This is by far the best cinnamon based protein I have ever had. It tastes just like a cinnamon bun. It has the perfect sweetness and perfectly resembles the cinnamon, the dough and the icing. As soon as I had it, I had a mental image of the center of a cinnamon bun in my head.

Profile - Very good. 126 cals, 2g fat, 5g carb and 22 protein per scoop.

Mixability - Mixes perfect. A little on the thicker side, which is fine by me. I prefer a thicker base.

Overall - This powder is a little on the higher end in terms of price. It is slightly more than a dollar a serving. Price usually does play a factor for me. With that in mind, I have rarely had a protein powder that blows my mind from the first time I tried it. I would not paying a little more for this powder. I do not paying a little more for something I would enjoy using and would not grow tired of. Do yourself a favor and buy the Cinnamon Bun AI Sports 100% Whey. 10/10

AntM Reviews Ronnie Coleman Yeah Buddy

    .

Mixability - Perfect as you can see.

Profile - This is the new formula. It has a Pump and Endurance blend of 3.5g total. In that blend is 2g beta alanine, 1g cirtuline and 500mg of agmatine. I would like to see all three ingredients about doubled or so in order to get adequate doses of each. A Focus blend of Choline at 550mg and TeaCrine at 50mg. Extended release caffeine at 420mg and a prop blend of various ingredients in the "Yeah Buddy Bomb."

    Energy/Focus - Perfect at a single scoop.

Pumps - A little better, but nothing great.

Taste - The flavor was electric lemonade. It has a very strong lemonade flavor in 8 ounces of water. I am not the biggest fan of lemonade unless it is not too sweet. This is pretty sweet and has a strong lemonade flavor. I wish it was lemon and lime, I think that would be killer. It is by no means bad. Lemonade fans will love it.

Overall - I would recommend this product for those looking for a stim heavy product. The labl does not disclose how many grams a serving is. The old formula was 6 grams, so that is what I was using. At 6 grams, energy and focus were amazing. I am naturally stim tolerant, so if a single scoop is enough for me, most other users probably wouldn't even need that much. That would make this product pretty wallet friendly, I would just add some bulk glycerol or agmaine to help with pumps to make it a complete product. The flavor was not for me, it isn't bad, I'm just not the biggest fan of lemonade. All in all, a great stim product, but I would advise those who do not need a stim heavy product to start with a half scoop. 8/10

I did my final review on this one today as well and it seemed like we both had similar feelings
about it except I'm a big lemon flavored fan and I really like the flavor of this one and it just needs
to be tweeked a little here and there to make it a little better.

I agree. I read your review and agree that the dosages of the agmatine and cirtuilline should be increased. It is a good product all in all though.

AntM Reviews Controlled Labs Venture Bars/

    Profile

The profile is very similar to the leading protein bars out there currently. The bar is 67 grams, a little larger than a Quest or Mission 1 Bar. The bar contains 230 cals 10g of fat, 28g of carbs, 18g of fiber and 20g of protein. Depending on the flavor, macros will be a little different, but they are in the same ballpark.

    Price

Venture Bars are priced around $22-$25 a box, which is the same price as Quest and Mission 1 Bars.

    Texture/consistency

The bar is softer than a Quest Bar and a touch softer than the Mission 1 bars. With those two bars, if I have one straight out of the wrapper, I need to keep it in my pocket to make it softer. That is not needed with the Venture Bar. However, it does take on a laffy taffy texture in terms of chewiness. For the sake of this review, I did not warm it up or keep it in my pocket prior to eating it. I think if I had it in my pocket, it would not have been as chewy. The texture is also pretty much the same. It is that smooth bar with some mix ins, in this case peanuts. I do like the addition of peanuts because one, I like the flavor and two, it gives the bar some texture and breaks up the monotonous smooth texture. However, I wish there were more peanuts in the bar.

    Taste

This is the Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge flavor. I am not the biggest fan of chocolate, but I love peanut butter. I can tolerate chocolate when there is enough peanut butter. With that said, there is enough peanut butter flavor. I would say the combo is 65/35 in terms of chocolate to peanut butter. Although when you get a peanut in the bite, I would say the ratio goes to 60/40. This is why I would like more peanut mix ins.

As soon as I took a bite, I was hit with peanut butter. My tastes buds love that. The more I chewed, the more the chocolate would come through and the peanut butter flavor would dissipate. Every single bite was like that. I only wish the peanut butter flavor stayed throughout the entire experience.

    Overall

My rating is taking into consideration the bar and the flavor. First, the bar is great. It is priced nicely, macro friendly and has a great taste. I do enjoy the flavor, the chocolate is not overwhelming and the peanut butter is not hidden. I just wish there was more peanut butter.

I would make one change to this bar and I believe this single change would change the bar in two ways. I would add more peanut mix ins. I believe this would make for a better experience. I can't lie, but I enjoy the texture of NuGo, Carb Killa, Fit Crunch and Detour bars more because they have a crunch to them. There is texture to the bar that Quest, Mission 1 and Venture bars do not have, In addition, I believe that the extra peanuts would add more peanut butter flavor to the bar. I still have the give Venture bars an 8.5, I knew what the bars would be, texture wise, so I cannot take points off for that. This flavor falls just short of perfect in my book, mostly due to flavor preference. 8.5/10
