He was set to get the 36million easy, clear cut case of cops ignoring information putting the wrong guy in jail for 18 years. The main one that ****ed up was set to do his actual deposition and was ordered by a judge that he couldn't plead the 5th or something. Next day Avery was charged with the murder, he then had to settle to hire lawyers.

That's easily explained. He did his business in the bedroom, shot her in the garage, bundled her body in the Rav4, drove to the quarry, burned her, shoveled her into the barrels, drove back to his trailer in the Rav4 before going back to get the barrels with another vehicle, started a fire, then burned her some more, leaving the barrels at his house along with her possessions.
That makes sense, right? Right?
Not serious. Even if he has low IQ of 70, that doesn't make sense for anyone. Burn someone elsewhere, away from the murder scene, to then bring them back to 20ft outside their front door?

Just finished the series and I don't even know where to start. A complete failure of the justice system. This is why I'm anti capital punishment.
I'm only left to believe that Brendan's dad and brother did it and Lenk did everything he could to pin it on Steven. I still am boggled by the fact that noone with a motive or murder weapon was found. She must have been beaten and burned somewhere else and dumped on Stevens burn pile.
Just can't believe this is real life.Last edited by tng83; 01-25-2016 at 09:16 PM.

Definitely couldn't be the guy with a history of violence towards woman who ran a female off the road and pulled a gun on her, who douses cats in gasoline and watches them burn alive, who specifically requested Theresa, phoned her three times on the day in question using a blocked number (including once at 4pm), had brought shackles and handcuffs three weeks prior and tried to make his girlfriend get into them (unsuccessfully) and whose also had later rape allegations and molestation allegations (including some Bobby Dassey) made against him.
Nah that guy sure doesn't fit the bill. It's just a ride...

Yeah I'm sure he has a secret incinerator lying around and decided to dump her bones on 3 different parts of the property, sounds legit to me. allegations mean nothing you idiot, leg shackles didn't have her DNA on it, but his and another unconfirmed DNA. His GF stuck by his side while he was in jail yet she was afraid of him? Jesus you are retarded, as retarded as saying TH was scared of her life around him yet still went to his property and met him.

He has a history of violence sure. Most murders have a motive of revenge, domestic arguments, alcohol related or money/drugs. Or the fact they have a mental illness. None of those motives appear to apply in this case.
Buying shackles and handcuffs and using them consensually on his girlfriend has nothing to do with the case (She certainly didn't seem shocked in the prison telephone recordings when he mentioned them.) Unless you want to play the he is mentally capable enough to remove all DNA from those items but then leave it on the key and casually disregard her bones next to his home.
Unfounded allegations cannot be used in court.

Can't be bothered to read the whole thread and post my in-depth analysis of everything that happened.
What I do want to say, though, is the whole jury of one's peers should be reconsidered if the vast majority is dumb as ****. Ship out the trial somewhere where people are unbiased and, frankly, smarter.

lol
Such new information for a 40 page thread.
The whole thing really is stranger than fiction. You couldn't cast a group of characters that ridiculous for a mini series if you tried. Nobody would find the characters "real" enough. Kachinsky, Kratz, the scumbag dimwitted looking officers, the Averys and Dasseys.
Lol'd
They might as well pin a bunch of other cover-ups on him. He isn't getting out of prison anytime soon and all because he was lumbered with a lawyer who prosecuted him, rather than defended him, and was born with learning difficulties.

So you mean her actual phone logs which you can view online here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7y...w?pref=2&pli=1 and the phone technician who gave uncontested evidence that Avery phoned her three times that day are actually false?
"Three calls from a cell phone in Steven Avery's name were made to a freelance photographer within about two hours on the day she was last seen alive, a wireless telephone company technician told jurors at Avery's murder trial Tuesday.
On two of the calls, the caller used a Cellcom service called "star 67 feature" that would have blocked Teresa Halbach from knowing who the call was from, said Bobbi Dohrwardt, team leader for the wireless company's technical support department."
Halbach's phone records show she got a call from Avery at 4:35 p.m. that lasted 13 seconds but she couldn't tell if it was answered or went into voice mail.

Watched all episodes. Jimmies were thoroughly rustled. Bunch of dumbass redneck cops out there in Wisconsin, it seems. Wanted to dropkick so many people in that courtroom, particularly that complete piece of schit DA Kratz and that lawyer pictured above. Most infuriating thing is the nephew being in prison for life for a coerced confession.
Justice system is a pile of fuming schit. They don't care who really did it, they just want a confession out of anyone to satisfy the public. It's not really justice.*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*

Yeah, you forgot the fact that Halbach was late meeting Avery that day and him calling 3 times could possibly, I mean, possibly, be related to her being late and him making sure she's going to be there. These 2 had a working relationship beforehand.
I don't know what you are trying to say here. The supposed fact that Avery called her 3 times somehow makes him guilty of murder? When there are other obvious explanations for it that would tell you otherwise.*United States Space Force Vet*
