welcome to
From what you are saying most likely herniated disc, did this **** the exact same way about a year ago, go get a mri and see how bad it is, will take some time to recover and be able to lift again but you will have some sort of pain probably life long but it shouldn't stop you from lifting/living life normal if it isnt too bad of a herniation.
Deadlifts strike again.

See a doctor, don't risk ****ing up your back. Chit can be permanent.
I hurt myself doing deadlifts and I was experiencing pain for months on end. Luckily I discovered the lower back pain was just a consequence from having tight hips which I relieved through doing Muay Thai and a tonne of stretching at home. Rarely ever touch deadlifts now, only do RDL's with like 80kg after doing front squats or something.*5'9 Crew*

Probably just a tear aka "lumbago" (undetermined lowerback pain)... herniated discs is not a "hurts to bend over" sort of pain, it's "I can't fcking tie my shoes, where is that gun? Im ****ing eating a bullet" pain.
A doctor will send you to a physio, so go to a physio and you'll be given some mobility tests and if you fail those you'll be sent to xray it. You'll probably be fine though, keep yourself active (walking, living) but don't lift for a few days.

I injured my back seven years ago. Right spinal erector area. Doing deadlifts. Epic fail.
At first I could hardly walk. Could not twist my torso. I was out for three months.
Do not try deadlifting. However, I do recommend an active recovery. As already mentioned foam rolling and stretching are very therapeutic. Be patient, it's just a setback, overcome it intelligently.

i had this about 2 weeks ago and thought it was snap city. took 3 days off from back, 1 week off from deadlifts and i was fine, hit new PRs in both squat and DL. take at least 3-5 days off for your back. imo dont start stretching n chit until at least 2 days
edit: btw if you got snap city doing 355 and your max is 460, something aint right bruh ...

Explain yourself OP. Why would you copy someone's post from 2008 and post it here?
