So first of all I have to say Kai is easily one of the most motivational athletes in my books.
I've discovered some of his videos and tips and my mind is blown at his methods.
The guy will put 1 plate on either side and bench for 15-20 reps. For 4 sets.... What?
I really like his mind to muscle philosophy, but is this legit how he ALWAYS trains??
Jay cutler/Ronnie etc. Load 500 pounds and crank the sloppiest form for 5 reps.
Yet they all have similar physiques...
Is Kai full of it ?

Current Pro bodybuilders aren't going to be 100% honest about their routines or cell tech. There's another video of him military pressing at least 315. Haven't seen it in a while but it could've been more.
You might be thinking of a de-load week where they just go through the motions instead of take a week off at a light weight and super strict form.

Nah man not a de-load week I'm certain.
He did a series of vids called "training with Kai" where he took a young body builder and they trained a muscle group together.
He seems like a real legit dude but it's just so odd to me that they were doing 15-20.
I'm wondering if he advocates these unorthodox ways just simply to set himself apart from other BBers.
