Anyone got any recipes for a calorie shake? I've done the oats/milk/pb/protein/nuts.. I'm currently 241 somewhere around 10%bf really just trying to bulk main problem is I got a new baby and a taxing job so its easier to drink a shake down instead of cook a bunch of meals and honestly besides my main three big meals i just get tired of eating.. So I'm looking for any ideas on a high calorie shake.. Current intake is probably somewhere around 4500 calories scale isn't moving so I need some help. Thanks guys

Whole milk, honey, ice cream, olive oil, oats, chocolate milk mix- blend that up.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Not sure what ya mean by bro foods? But mainly
mornings- I eat a breakfast with 6 eggs, oatmeal, whole milk, yougurt&fruit together..
Mid morning- I eat a shake consisting of a scoop of whey, 2cups of milk, 4 tbs of pb 1/2 cup of oats..
Lunch- honestly is fast-food usually a burger and fries consisting of close to 1000 cals..
Dinner- usually a large portion of steak, hamburger, or I buy alot of roasts and whole chickens.. A hefty serving of vegies.. And rice or potatoes..
Then night time I've started adding another shake.. I've been up to 260 before pretty lean still but I am about 240 currently and just don't seem to be gaining at a decent pace anymore.. Up until last week my weight gain shakes were only protein shakes I just recently added extra stuff so I'm hoping that does the trick.. Sorry about the lapse in time just had a baby and been super busy thanks for your replies

Some people have a thing for shakes. They think it's magical. Throw regular food in a blender, they somehow turn into even more healthier food.
A heaping tablespoon of peanut butter is already 200 calories. Wash it down with full milk and that's another 150. Eat a banana and you get another 100. You wash 1 glass and 1 spoon. On the other hand, if you throw all these in a blender, you've turned these same food into a super healthier anabolic shake!

40g oats
30g peanut butter
Ground flax (gives it a really nice nutty taste that adds to the PB)
80 calories worth of sweetener
300g tofu
Cup of milk or soy milk. (I prefer soy, regular milk + tofu gives it a weird taste)
200g strawberries
Frozen Banana
4-8 ice cubes
Blend and top with chocolate chips
You can add whey to meet your macros, but without, this smoothie already has a good amount of protein, carbs and fats. It's not a smoothie you'd chug, though. Something you'd sip or eat with a spoon out of a blender slowly. Sometimes, for extra carbs, I throw in cheerios and eat with a spoon.

I don't think people think they are "magical".. Or healthier.. Just easier to make one shake and drink it fast rather than make protein drink.. Eat banana.. Eat peanut butter.. Eat oatmeal.. Or should I have specified that's why I use shakes not because I think it gives foods some sort of anabolic properties like you mentioned...

.. Because that's all that's in my shakes.. Protein which I would have to blend anyway... Oats which I would have to cook if I didn't drink down...rndom **** I throw in there.. And yes pb banana and milk which are easy to eat... Maybe if you can cook oatmeal blend a protein shake and eat the other three as easy as making a shake you have a weird way of making shakes.. Don't see how this turned into this its easier for me to drink 1000 cals than to eat it.. Im not debating this.. I don't have some weird theory where I think it makes my food amazing.. But thanks for the feedback anyway
