    Intercostal injury during sub maximal squat

    This happened yesterday if you look at video during second rep you can hear a popping noise. I usually do more weight and more reps. Went to hospital they did X-ray that's what doc said. Anyone else had this? Why me sucks big time my form was good I thought can't believe it happened. Any advice on how to recover quicker or how long I'll be side lined for. Thanks bros.

    Not sure if mine was just a strain but it hurt a lot initially just to cough; deep breathing and rest helped. Both times I experienced this, recovery time was fairly quick though; about a week and I had no discomfort doing physical activity.

    Thanks for reply gomil. I'll try that. Do you see anything in my form that could've lead to the injury. I'm shocked it happened it's not like I was straining to squeeze the rep out.
