Thread title should replace "is" with "was" there is absolutely no denying that during its prime Britain was and always will be the greatest country on planet Earth. But those days are long gone, we have replaced our culture and history with Islam, American materialism and celebrity worship and the vast majority of our "men" devote their entire life to cheer-leading millionaire foreigners kicking a ball on grass and feigning injury.
We have no culture to speak of.
Our government will happily sell us out to China and populate our country with cheaper foreign labour.
We deny our great history and refuse to rise again.
Our main media source the B-B-C is a corrupt leftist cesspit.
We have nothing any more and the next chapter of British history will be written in Chinese.

England has a history of being among the most prominent countries, but there is no denying that by the twentieth century its status as one of the leading superpowers began to wane, especially during the cold war.
The Suez Crisis in 1956, for example, was both humiliating and humbling for England, as well as France.
They had to come to terms and accept that they were not the leading superpower anymore. Since the end of the Cold War, others like China, Germany, and Russia have shone potential to reach superpower status. But the US arguably remains the sole superpower at this point in time.++ Positive Crew ++

Title of thread: "Britain is literally the greatest, most relevant nation."
First sentence of the thread: "Basically, Britain wrote the rule book of the world. Everything revolves around Britain. Britain is the centre of the universe."
Merriam-Webster's definition of a superpower: "a: an extremely powerful nation; specifically : one of a very few dominant states in an era when the world is divided politically into these states and their satellites
b: an international governing body able to enforce its will upon the most powerful states"
I think what I said was very appropriate and relevant to the op and this thread. Also, as you pointed out, the US has done some bad things but England has done some bad things, too. The US has done some good things but England has done some good things, too.++ Positive Crew ++

The UK and all of Europe would've been fuked by the Nazi's if it wasn't for the US. Russia couldn't have done it without the US's money and supplies and their setting up of a Western front.
Your right though, only death and destruction, hasn't contributed anything. lol.**MFC**

Italy has it all over the UK with history and cuisine.
Germany has it all over the UK with infrastructure, engineering and technology.
France has it all over the UK with art, culture and quality of life.
The US has it all over the UK with economic mobility, GDP and the triumph of the individual over a class-based society.
The UK had the 1800's though. And the Spice Girls.
