Im in but im only doing small deficits 2 times a week long term. (Prob 2 to 2 and half years) Im up in the 150's but I need to get a reliable scale.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I'm currently at 193lbs down from 203lbs at the end of October, but had a bit of a bad run in November with motivation and cheat days. Looking to get down to 170-175lbs. By end of December I'm aiming for 189lbs so I'm hoping that by the end of February I can hit at least 175GOAL: 168lbs by 01/06/16

Totally in on this.. I'm already on a cut but I like having a place where I can post numbers and cheer on others.
I'm deployed so not really getting any holiday festivities out here. I've been trying to eat clean for the remaining time I have left here. Although I've been losing weight at a steady pace, I wanted to see if I could focus on making healthier choices with more nutrient dense foods.
I weigh daily so reporting in every Thursday won't be a problem.

GW: 135 - (31 Mar)
I look forward to cutting with you guys! Happy Holidays! What's the meaning of life?

Just get a digital one for like 30-50$. It's the loss that counts, not the weight, so it doesn't need to be 100% accurate unless you're an athlete competing within weight classes.
You bet dude. Added you!
I added two more columns to the spreadsheet. Goal weight, and remaining to goal. At least for me, it's motivating to have a "countdown"Last edited by Stuffed; 12-18-2015 at 06:27 AM.

That's a fancy scale! lol I recently switched to an analog scale b/c my digital kept spitting out the same number while the analog scale showed a steady decline in weight.
I agree with the OP, all you need is a trend line.. not necessarily a "weigh and decipher bone and water weight" type of scale.
Sometimes we get caught up on the exact numbers that we lose sight of the big picture. What's the meaning of life?

Sure I'm in. I don't care about official weigh-in days or spreadsheets or anything like that, but the thread should be good for motivation and/or discussion purposes. I'll hopefully be around 195-196 on 1/1 (199 now), so I'll set a tentative goal of 185 lbs for 3/31.
