Thumbs down How long to lost 2 day binge bloat?

Like both days I ate until it hurt, a hell of a lot of calories. Both times happened when I was 'smoking' of course lol

The first time it happened I thought okay I won't let it happen again and it did. This has happened before in the past but I haven't smoked in a very long time so I thought things might be different. I was going well on my cut, trying to get to a lean 142-144lbs and was sitting at 146lb then boom, binged for a couple of days and 2 days later I'm still like a full 10lbs heavier.

From previous experience I think it took a week or so, even after a 3 day binge it still took about a week to get back down to where I was. It's just frustrating because I know it's stalling me, I did some HIIT and walking yesterday and fasted (wasnt hungry anyway) to make up for it. I really wanted to hold off until Christmas day which I was going to use as a cheat day. I'm also taking a water retention supplement called Xpel to help speed up water loss so hopefully it won't take too long

Edit: I wouldn't say I have a problem with binging either, I have a problem with 'smoking' lol so best I avoid it from now on

I had lost 18 lbs since October 27, then on Friday I had 5 slices of Pizza Hut and a beer. Saturday I had carne asada and a pupusa, yesterday I had a breakfast sandwich and for dinner more carne asada and 2 beers.. This morning I'm 5lbs over what I usually weigh 😁😬😬😬😬😬 I hope it's mostly water weight cause for the past 2 weeks I was stuck on same weight and all of a sudden boooom!

That's no where near as bad as me bro

In my experience it does go away within like a week of eating at a deficit but until then I usually feel disgusting, especially the first couple days after a big dirty binge lol

I had a really bad day this weekend at a family Christmas function. Did a 24 hour fast the next day but even that fast has not canceled out my bad day. I feel like crap today and bloated as hell. It will go away after a few days of exercise and smart eating. This time of year is not easy. Just get back on your plan.

    Just an update

down to 69kg, lost 2-3kg overnight. It's all water, look close enough to where I was before, I'd say in another couple days I will be back in business

I find most of the water weight is gone after 3 days, 4 definitely after a salt+carb load. I've been known to swing 15+ lb in that time frame, lol. Mostly what is left by day 5 you can't really call "extra water weight" anymore.
    Gym PRs:

Been dealing with something similar. I'm still young in this and learning. Lesson: I think a "cheat meal" needs to be a lot less and less frequent than I have been doing it. I was at 199lbs on Friday. By Sunday I was 201.8 and Monday morning 200.8. Did my usual 5 miles to start the week, weighed myself this morning and I'm back down to 198.4. It's been a 2 steps forward, 1 step back kind of thing for me. I now only record the number I'm at Friday morning after a good week of working out and I'm going to try to adjust my binge sessions for a little faster progress.
