That sucks. There was a guy in my gym with an arm cast for a while. Obviously not ideal, but I'm sure you will figure out what you can and can't do. I would think machines will need to make up the majority but you could always put some extra focus on your legs/posterior chain for a while and just do what you can for upper body.

    Smile

I am about to do the same thing. I am planning on machines for calf raises, squats, leg curls & extensions, and machine version of good mornings. Sentenced to 5 or 6 weeks of that.
    Do what's right.

You might consider doing on arm work with your good arm.
There is scientific evidence that working the good side while the bad side is recovering has some positive benefits to the injured side.
I don't know if thats true with a hand injury or not.
As mentioned leg work could be done with a leg press, safety squat bar, smith machine or other.

Having had a few injuries myself all I can say is to take it easy. I came back too fast after a pec tear and after a minor shoulder injury and was in a ton of pain.

I ended up just taking off for about six weeks and came back slower but feeling so much better.

My physical therapists were great and really guided me along the way.

    Have a great recovery man!
I rep back, just ask pls.
