Anyone read that Frieza is coming back for later episodes? buu is going to be sleeping and they are going to ask Frieza to enter the tournament and will revive him for 24 hours similar to how Goku was revived during Buu saga.

But also heard another rumor that Frieza may decline and they might ask Cell instead, who has always a stickler for testing his powers. There have been alot of callbacks to the Cell saga in recent episodes, and we haven't seen him yet, so I wouldn't be surprised. Also, Goku is always saying "you will get to fight strong guys," which would instantly sell Cell if he's bored in hell.

I mean, the fight against Toppo - Goku instant transmissions during his Kamahehameha - call back to Cell saga.

Goku instant transmissions pirate dude to King Kai's planet when he threatens self destruction - call back to Cell saga.

Training in hyperbolic time chamber - call back to Cell saga.

Gohan getting sick with his fight against Violet and SS accelerates it - callback to Android/Cell saga.

If Cell were to come back, the hype would be unreal.

That said I fukin hate it. Makes absolutely 0 sense to have those three fight rather than bringing Cell, Frieza, Buu or anyone else who has died to fight since they're doing that with frieza. The strategic ability aspect of those three is BS imo. Vegata, Piccolo, Gohan, and even Cell are more than enough to come up with a solid strategy during the tournament and they can actually hold their own in a fight.

You have no idea how bad I want Cell to comeback! He could actually work, all you have to do is:

Beat the living chit out of him ( Goku/Gohan/Beerus/Vegeta) can all take turn. Afterwards, every time he takes significant amount of damage, have Dende heal him so he can get Zenkai boost.

Also, if you want to give him a new form, he can have a hybrid transformation of Golden Frieza/SSJ and it can be called: Pinnacle of perfection!

Either way, you could bring King Cold back and have him take a beating in the Hyperbolic time chamber. Few hours should be like 4 months since the environment is harsh and so he can toughen up fast and you can use the plot of "he never got to show his true form against trunks)

Anyway, it looks like Frieza is coming back and Frost is being trained by Hit. I assume its going to be a Freeza/Frost show down...

Blue Super Saiyan just being regular super sayian, being incredibly difficult to attain at first, only to be pretty attainable later on lmao. Should have went off Super Sayian 3 and remade SS4.
Also animation quality is still garbage.
How tf did Freiza's training allow him to go from below SS1 to above SS3 and on par with blue super sayian? Same with Android 17.

Yes I agree the power scaling is nonsense. I don't think 17 is anywhere near SSB though, Goku was jut sparring.

I've read quite a few comments saying this crap and I'm just confused, I thought the whole episode looked great; better than usual. I understood people's complaint earlier in Super, some of that crap looked fan-made; now it looks 10x better and people are still complaining and I just don't get it.

Did you only watch it once and while doing something else? The art and animation were just bad. They would reuse frames and just move the character closer to simulate movement. The faces are severely messed up and the body/limbs are majorly out of proportion. The lightning for ss2 isn't even lightning, it's little blue jagged things every few frames. The muscles are all phucking wonky

When Goku is firing that barrage his body and face don't even change, his arms are just moving for like 10 seconds

Anyone can capture a single frame and it will probably look bad, unless you're watching some high budget movie where every frame is worked on over several years.
I thought this fight looked great, sure they had to reuse some animations repeatedly; I can see how it's repetitive but it's the easiest way to pad out a fight in between crucial moments in the fight, that break up the fight ever 10-20 seconds. Apart from that I thought it looked amazing.

That's because Frieza comes from a gifted race of power, and he himself is a prodigy among them. This was stated by both him and his father, and he said he's never trained a day in his life because up until he encountered a Super Saiyan (Goku), he never had to, no one could challenge him. He was literally born with a power level of 120 million, and then used forms to suppress that power. Now that he actually put effort in and trained, his gifted race genetics allowed to him exceed heights that comparing to a Saiyan (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan) couldn't reach. Saiyans were always described as a weak and lower class race, but were very adaptable because they had a habit for fighting and a gift for quick and unlimited power boosts.

Android 17 on the other hand makes no sense, and that goes for all the other Z warriors getting sudden power boosts which all makes no sense. Super in general seems to be a mess in power scaling.
